Bug Report Sudden High Ping / Lag / Latency

    If you start having a large amount of lag / ping / latency please do the following:
    1. Open Start Menu
    2. Search for cmd
    3. Type tracert server.dragonsprophet.online
    4. Save (Screenshot/Copy) your results and post in a new thread.
    Normally high ping or latency is caused by a fault in the routing between you and our server, and is not something we can do something to remedy. If it is something that is consistent or continues, we can report it to our data center and they may be able to address the issue by adjusting the route.

    If you are having issues with lag, disconnects or anything else, please use WinMTR (in post above) to grab your diagnostics and attach them to this thread.

    We are currently looking into working with OVH and peering partners to try to minimize issues, and to effectively reduce them as much as possible.

    Well..here we are again.. When I put it down I had 60s> 80s ping and 13s FPS..when I log'd back in ,mid 100s> 400+ pings and 9 fps. Same conditions that cause me to stop playing the last server,so I put the draggies back to work and dropped.

    Just tried to participate in the Event. Couldn't move...couldn't shoot...no response to any commands I gave my char. I been playing online games since 1998 and never seen lag as bad as this and that was dial-up days. I guess I wasted my time trying to do the event.

    Yup it was really laggy for me too. I always use ctrl c & ctrl x, and i still couldn't move some of the time. But i still had fun, and really like the labyrinth. It's much easier for me than the jumping platforms. :)

    I just keep crashing over and over for no apparent reason (that i can figure out)

    If it's a disconnect, then it's your connection.

    If it's a client crash then something may be wrong with your computer, though it's odd that it's only really become an issue now.

    i replaced some fans, a few weeks ago...it's not overheating.
    ...today i disabled a service called "WlanWpsSvc" that was in my startup, system configuration window...that might be suspicious malware...
    I also changed the location in settings to try for a more direct route and/or lower ping.
    I just don't have a clue...i'm not that techy.

    it's client crash.

    WlanWpsSvc is a WiFi adapter service, so not really a problem. Mostly used for D-Link or TrendNet adapters.

    You've been having the issue longer than you've had the new fans, so that shouldn't be the issue either; try running the x64 client instead of the x86 and see if that fixes the issue (run the .exe directly).

    read 2 websites, thought it might be good idea to disable:

    i've been having bad lag, high ping, and extremely frequent disconnecting for the last few days. Also having trouble logging in. I contacted my ISP, and have had 2 techs come to my house in the last few days to check my equipment (modem, router, outside box, top of pole, lines, etc.) My internet speeds are fast, but i still have intermittent lag/highping/disconnecting problems, with DP. my browser is loading pages fine, and speed tests are good. Just had weird error message when trying to login...something about Laedis zone not being available, and someone else coudn't login either with same problem.
