As people have probably noticed, we have been having some sporadic downtime and connection instability off and on for a month, and more so this week.

The long-term issues have been because of a large-scale consistent DDoS on the primary upstream provider that is used for the data center, and is not related to our server, the data center or any other customers at the data center. This has especially affected international players, as the node attacked is primarily used for international routes. Even when the routing has been changed, there are often still issues because of how large the attack is and how it affects the performance of the upstream provider.

On top of the DDoS affecting the upstream provider, there has also been a (smaller) attack targeted specifically at servers in the data center, and the data center itself. As of this morning, the attack had eaten through around 83TB of bandwidth. To help remedy this, another line was added as well as additional DDoS protection which they have been fine tuning.

Because of the connection issues at this data center, Stealth and I have talked and we will be looking to move to one of the new data centers that he has been working on getting set up within a month (or possibly two). This means we will get shiny new upgraded servers, and we will also be making some infrastructure changes.

I re-entered the game thinking I would start from scratch.
My account has been successfully rescued and I have a level 100 mage, but now I don't know what to do.
I would like a guild or someone active who could guide me to continue capturing dragons.

I just cannot get through this. I am a level 16 guardian and I am getting crushed every time. I don't remember my first play-through with this part of the quest line being so difficult. Any tips or tricks? I am running around doing side quests now, and hoping to get back to the story line soon!

I am starting all over, and I wasn't incredibly skilled the first play through. It has been a few years, and I doubt I will have gotten better at the game with no play time!

Hey all! I am about to be starting back up after years of not playing. Frankly, I don't remember much besides really enjoying myself. A few questions:

1. I remember there being an introductory play-through scenario. Am I misremembering? Does that still exist?
2. Any must-dos to set yourself up for success?
3. If you could start over again what would you do the same? Different?

Hello! I am an American-based player who finally found the game again. I deleted the game years ago when I was too busy to play during college, and couldn't resist clicking on for a while when I saw the icon. I have on and off tried to find the game since graduating, and finally took to reddit for my search. Someone recommended this server for American players, and I am thrilled to get to play again! I hadn't made it very far into the game originally, but I look forward to putting some hours into it during vacation this week.
