This is an issue where the game is not properly loading objects/textures, and has locked up. This can commonly happen when creating a new character, or going through certain zones.

Currently there are a few ways to deal with this:
  • Use the teleport to Laedis button on the character selection screen
  • Attempt to create a new character, and try a different starting zone
This will sometimes go away by itself as well.
