Just upgraded gpu, now I get flashing green lines in game

According to you, everyone with a 5000 series Nvidia card must be experiencing this problem, right?
So, does that mean everyone with a new Nvidia card has to play this game seeing these green lines?
No, according to you, everyone with a 5000 (and possibly a 4000) series card would have this same experience, as it would be a server issue. Because it is a driver issue, it is different person to person.

When the issue is a driver issue the problem can be caused by the nVidia/AMD driver, the specific firmware specific to a manufacturer for a specific GPU, an issue with a specific model of GPU or even an interaction issue between different hardware (eg CPU bottlenecking your GPU, causing the issue). Outside of major titles or larger companies who have direct access to nVidia/AMD for driver validation or software support, there is often very little that can be done.

DP was released in 2012, with a graphic/rendering system specifically designed for Windows Vista/Windows 7; these issues are going to become more and more common because hardware is vastly different compared to then.

I have tried to reproduce this on 4 different cards (4060 Ti, 4080, 5060 Ti and 5090) across different manufacturers (ASUS, Gigabyte, Zotac and Founder edition cards). So far I have not been able to reproduce the issue, and will need to see if there is something in common with people who have made the reports.

The bug is not server side, the bug is a driver issue, as has been explained previously.

Similar bugs have happened since the release of the game, however with evolving hardware and driver implementations it's going to be more and more common for rendering issues to occur.

sorry, but I have only one gpu(5070 Ti).
And I definitely have no intention of buying another card because of this game.
You can be sure of that ;)
I've been on Dragon's Prophet servers since 2016. In fact, I've been on other servers too, and I've never seen a bug like this on any of them.
I don't mean to cause any trouble. But just because We're using an Nvidia card doesn't mean I'm going to spend money because of a server-side bug.

Looking for 1000x1000 plot

You can also change your house even with eggs in the nest; you just have to put everything back in place. I have a large plot of land, but unfortunately, it's very bad – it's all crooked and uneven, and there are large rocks on it. It would be great if that could be changed later, since large plots of land are rare.
Oh, okay. I figured picking the nests up with an egg still incubating, would mess up the egg.

Only one I found was to run 2 video cards. I just added my 3060 back in and told windows to use it for DP, and now it plays just fine.

Learning cap?

it is not usefull learning any crafting recipes of any profession except carpenter before you have reached maximum level. it is useles crafting anything like armour weapons or jewellry on lower levels as with the triple xp rate on the server here you will level the char quicker than you could craft anyway.

Looking for 1000x1000 plot

I currently have a secret apartment, but the extra loading screens are a pain when dancing for my sister and myself (I dance on all 10 of my accounts so she doesn't have to have alt accounts). I want to find a 1000x1000, with another that is at least 300x300 nearby for my sister. I found a 1000x1000 on Earthforge, and it has a ton of empty land near it, but with no lots at all. Anyone know of any? I have eggs in nests at the moment, so can't change houses until they hatch in about a week, but am trying to plan for moving as soon as I can. I know the bigger lots are hard to come by.
Thank you!

EDIT: I had checked 13 islands before making this post. Island #14 I found what I had been looking for lol. Now I just have to hope it is still there when my eggs are done lol. I did have another question though, If you buy a smaller land warrant from the store (say 300x300), is the rent the same as if you bought it with gold?

Learning cap?

It is most likely the carpenter that has the problem exceeding the 200. best to delete lower level recipes and learn those on an other char. so you are able to learn the high level on your main. Plus: there aren't that many furniture recipes on levels higher than 100.
Carpentry I can still learn recipes for, it is armorsmith I can't learn recipes for. How do you delete recipes?

When does the winter event end?

Hello,

I just started and have missed the majority of the winter event. Was curious what day it ends - trying to calculate if it's possible for me to earn 1000 of the silver coins to get the tree storage or if I need to wait until next year. I'm guessing I've missed too many days but wanted to double check.

Thank you!

I'll leave it running until ~Febuary 14-18th, which is when we do our server anniversary, Chinese New Years and Valentines events.

Learning cap?

I have a level 102 main, and had planned on her being my main crafter due to the storage issues/amount of materials needed. Today I tried to learn a recipe and got an error message about a 200 skill cap. Do you have to do 1 character per craft or something? I would really prefer not to have to do that, but see no other option? Can they learn all the recipes if they only do 1 craft? If I have to do 1 character per craft, is there a way to remove recipes from a character so they can learn others? I like crafting in this game, and am pretty bummed about this feature, especially as it makes no sense. What is the best way to do crafting so you can learn recipes?

Thank you.
