Just upgraded gpu, now I get flashing green lines in game

Yeah, so far I have experienced issues with it as well. My dual card setup works, but ARK Survival Ascended doesn't like the 3060 in there, even though I have it set to use the 5060. Since adding in the 3060, I have had to turn down settings in ASA, and it plays rougher. ASA is so poorly optimized though, it has issues anyway lol. I am looking into building a better pc for ASA, then I will just use my current one for older games and keep only the 3060 in it. It's not ideal, but I like older games like DP, so it is what it is.

I was actually looking into this and was going to look at pushing a patch this coming Monday if everything continues to work correctly.

It did basically confirm my theory that the issue is specific to AMD (so far Ryzen 5/7/9) with integrated graphics and newer nVidia GPU. I do not know if the issue is specific to Vulkan (Which is what dxvk is for), or just the way Dragon's Prophet accesses hardware.

There is no need for a conf file, you can just drop the dxgi and d3d11 files into the DP folder, however I need to test if there are issues with other hardware before I release a patch. There is potential for memory buffering errors, as you're adding a translation layer on top of a game, but DP does not normally take up too much RAM unless you're running it for a long period of time.

It it seems to bee working for me on the x64. I am still testing it, it does have a few settings to tweak and what not.

If you do try your self.
Get this out of the zip for the x64
d3d11.dll
dxgi.dll
Then make a config file called dxvk.conf
Then put this inside of it

dxvk.allowFse = True
d3d9.maxFrameRate = 0
dxvk.gplAsyncCache = True
dxvk.hud = fps
dxvk.presentMode = 1
dxvk.numCompilerThreads = 12 ; Match the threads on your pc

Discord is only used for SSO, and it can be separated from your account.

In most cases, SSO solutions are not a bilateral sharing of data (other than site you are using it for), but more a way to share basic account information with third party sites you choose to.

Rules Excessive Spawn Camping & Alt Usage

Due to multiple reports, as well as instances going back several years, I am going to have to enforce rules around camping wild spawns, especially with the use of alts.

I am not going to enforce specific rules around capturing dragons, as I still feel very much that first come first serve is the way that the game was meant to be played. I will however start considering reports of users or groups of users who choose to excessively spawn camp or park alts to attempt to capture all wild spawns at given times to be a form of harassment. I will also be taking into account the behavior of users when someone else is attempting to capture a Dragon if there are multiple reports of them attempting to interrupt or impede someone else.

Here is a short list of some (but not all) behaviors that will be considered actionable:
  • Excessive use of alts to attempt to monopolize multiple or all spawns, especially across multiple channels within a given period of time.
  • Toxic player interactions by either party (player capturing or bystander).
    • If the capturing of spawns seems to be targeted this will also be considered as a toxic interaction.
  • False reports or attempts to purposely get players punished or banned will be treated as harassment, and likely get the reporter banned.
This rule will be going into effect after the next maintenance, however I will be taking in consideration current tickets, previous reports or evidence of past infractions for future behavior.

There will be no set punishment, however it will likely start with a week ban, and for repeat offenders I will just wash my hands of the situation and ban them permanently. If you have been warned for behavior in the past, it will be a permanent ban as you're obviously not worth the time.
