Just upgraded gpu, now I get flashing green lines in game

I confirmed with someone else that it is due to nVidia dropping 32bit support for Physx on the 50 series.

You can try using the x64 client, but I do not know if that would actually solve anything.

Nope ... 64bit also doesn't work. (Because DP's Code was always a mess) The only chance to get the Game run without this flimmering prob is to use a Second Older then the 50 Series GPU. Put my old 3060 in and on this card the game works fine.

The only other Solution would be more an Upgrade to DP's Game Engine itself, but i don't see that thing will happen without DP's Source Code. Except ya have enough time to Reverse Engineer the ull game to be able to make this changes.

It could be a Driver problem or something else. None of the compatible 50 Series Drivers worked.
Tested it with dxvk, also not working.
Let the Game now run on 5070 and in nvidia control panel i changed that it should use the physx calculation only from the 3060. Does also not work and still the green flimmering.
The thing what i've seen, the source could be the Light, when a map is foggy that prob disapear until the fog stops.

But i Found the only Solution that works for now. What have i done you want to know, took my old 3060 out of the Box and put into the pc. Let just DP run with the 3060 and all other things run via 5070Ti. As many People sayd already, SLI is back for some older games because of NON Supported PhysX 32bit on the 50 Series. Since my PC has as CPU the 9700X (yes it has integrated graphics) was trying to run DP with that but it crashed to much. (No green flickering, just crash, sometimes even many crashes after each other).

DP would need a complete redo and much more other Games so they work properly with newer Hardware.

(Belated) Introduction

I didn't make an introduction post when I joined a while ago, so now that I'm back and playing through the game again I'm finally doing it.

I'm Kazimierz, in-game would be Sorin (108 Ranger) or Narys (Leveling Guardian).

I originally played on NA many years back before it shut down, then I eventually moved to EU - I didn't make it very far back then probably because I was clueless on how to do anything, but enjoyed the game nonetheless.

Last time I played here I reached cap for the first time in my DP career, and I hope to learn more this time around on my Guardian.

Since I mostly kept to myself last time, I hope I encounter some of you in-game this time. 🙂

This is probably an incompatibility with newer nVidia GPU/drivers; I do not know specifically what would cause this exact issue, as normally the past issues have been a green tint to fog/clouds or particles.

Resolution and refresh rate wouldn't really affect the game much, so the issue is probably more likely something with how the GPU is rendering something in the game.

You could play around with overriding in the nVidia control panel (not GeForce), and see if you can find a solution there.

Just upgraded gpu, now I get flashing green lines in game

I just upgraded from a 3060 to a 5060 Ti. On the 3060 I had no issues, but now I get flashing green lines in a circle around my character. I have tried messing with settings, like vsync on and off and such, but I can't get them to stop. Anyone have any ideas? I also went from 1080p at 60hz to 1440p at 180hz. I figure it is related to that more than the new gpu, but can't find a setting, or combination of settings that stops it. I am currently running the game on fullscreen at 2560x1440.
Thank you.

Bug Report Game crashes when entering Dungeons or going to mastery Test.

Alrighty thank you! then I guess the game jus ain't meant for me atm :d appreciate the reply though!

If you're crashing on loading screens, it is either going to be FPS related or going to be related to shadow generation.

Try limiting FPS to ~200-300 (you are unlikely to get that high with DP outside of loading screens). For shadow generation unless there are AMD settings to deal with that, there is not much that can be done there.

The likely causes for crashing are going to be an out-of-date client (just run the launcher), game corruption (try re-downloading your client), or driver issues. The last one isn't one that we can easily troubleshoot as so far, the issues have been sporadic across different driver versions or different hardware.
already tried running the launcher, also tried redownloading the client multiple times. Also tried just copying the game folder over from my fathers pc were the game works, nothing worked. So I guess it's a driver error cuz the main difference is that I'm running a AMD GPU.

Bug Report Game crashes when entering Dungeons or going to mastery Test.

Hello,
I just started the game 2 days ago, I started leveling a character and when I went to try to do the mastery test to unlock the other skills the game just competely crashed without an error message or anything. It happened every time I tried to teleport into the test area. The only way to circumvent that was to teleport back to Arteicia from the Character select menu. I managed to finish the mastery trial by doing it on my fathers pc were the game works with no flaws for some reason.

But now I'm having the same problem when I'm entering any dungeon. For example in Arynas Lair, the game immediately closes the moment I enter the loading screen. Any Ideas on what I can do about it?
