What do people do if not questing or hunting down dragons?
This isn't a question about advice, I'm genuinely curious to hear how other players spend their spare time in the game!

I am looking for recent up to date guardian builds pve and pvp builds also dragons and the skills to boot.

Happy new years, and here is to hoping that 2022 isn't as plagued with delays and problems as 2021 was.

After a brief break for the Holidays, Dragon and I will be tackling the current issues preventing the source update, and hopefully will be opening up the beta to all players so we have a range of feedback for the new client performance, and more people to test for any major issues. Sadly, until any discrepancies with the current server and the source server are fixed, we will not be pushing forward with the update as it could potentially break characters or some equipment.

We will be looking at releasing a lot of the announced and some unannounced Dragons soon, most of which will be free. Some of these are planned for release when we start adding in the new spawn system, and some are going to be implemented as rewards. We are also planning to look at completely re-doing the fat model for Fabled ancients as it is currently just not working with the upgraded textures.

There are also a lot of changes that are currently planned for the forum, mainly having to do with functionality. I am still working on finalizing a lot of the new features and adjustments, but will hopefully have them done soon so that they can be made public. Some of what is planned will allow us to expand the credits that members can earn, as well as possibly adding a new forum-specific currency. I will also be working to get the new gifs prepared for the showcase add-on, so that people with permission can start filling in data so it is specific to Adept, rather than NA/EU like the current wiki is.

We will be working on some more merchandise soon (for those that are interested), and I am looking at an alternative from Threadless which provides an API so we can integrate it into the site, and automatically reward the Platinum that people get for each $25 spent. The option that I am looking at is also slightly cheaper, but does not offer everything that Threadless does (no skateboards).

I will also be making an announcement in the future about recruiting artists to work with us and earn money doing avatars, news backgrounds and other images that we have been using.

There may be some potential downtime due to network maintenance by one of the upstream providers for the data center tonight between 10 PM to 4 AM Pacific. This may not effect us, but I figured I would give people a heads up anyways.

Due to severe weather (including several tornado warnings) there was a power failure in the data center, as well as several outages leading to and from the data center that prevented the server from going back online.

Because of this it was recommended to keep the server offline until power was completely back in place (and not on generators or backup systems).

Dragon's Prophet is currently having to be turned back online, and will be up in a hour or two as it goes through the startup process (likely around 12-1PM Pacific Time).

I post this here - as the subject could become a problem.
I just read an article issued by the Federal Cyber Security Authority, Germany who has changed the severity of server attacks from Orange to red.
As far as I understand it, the problem lies within the library of Java Software = the weak entry point is named "Log4j".
As attacks were recently (successfully) launched on the online game "Minecraft" I was wondering if Adeptgamer
a) is aware of this very serious matter
and
b) is in contact with their new sever provider

I do not want to spread panic - I am just very concerned, as the BSI is a very respected government institution.

Because this has been a problem off and on, and bad actors have attempted to bypass and co-opt the rules for their own purposes I am going to be clarifying them officially.

Island limit per alliance

We use the Dominion limit shown in the alliance UI for the limit, which is currently set to two. This will changed in the future once we fix the bug that prevents the Dominion value from changing in line with the value displayed for quests, but it requires a source change for this to work properly.

Going over this limit can happen accidentally, so breaking this rule will be on a case by case situation and I will account for any situations you have been involved with in the past. Generally warnings will be given out, however if you are someone who has been known to purposely create drama I can and will likely choose to do at least a temporary ban.

Alt alliances to bypass limit

While this does not directly break the above rule, it creates a situation where it is a letter vs intent situation. Any people purposely trying to bypass the limit by using alt guilds or any other means will be banned after a single warning. Whether this is temporary or permanent will depend on the people and any past occurrences. I also will decide on who the ban applies to depending on the situation, so it may be just the leadership involved, could be anyone involved with bypassing the restriction, or it could be entire alliances if I'm truly fed up with wasting my time on you.

This is not up for discussion, debate or really even opinions. At this point due to the drama of two separate groups over the last year, at least 30-50 hours has been pulled away from working on other tasks related to the network to deal with these ongoing pointless issues.

Hi, I downloaded the game and then tried to install it, but after a while I got a problem. I already downloaded it three times and tried several times to run the launcher, but it keeps saying the same thing.

this happened to me this week that in some dungeons, when it comes to the final battle with the boss, the screen cuts and suddenly goes black. The game continues, the audio works normally, but you can't continue because can't see because of the sudden black screen.
Specifically, it happened to me in the dungeons of Nyrol's Nest and Juno Crystal Gallery, maybe it happens in others dungeons as well.
