So i'm looking for a cape , that's some random drop so if you get any luck and drop it , i'm willing to buy it for 3 million . One set is the killer's one and the other is the savage one . gold .

For as long as i could remember, the guardian was one of my favorite classes in Dragon's Prophet and i always wondered what are some examples of Guardian builds that are basically top tier so this thread here is for some suggestions/examples of Good guardian Builds

This is gonna be my first thread, but if there's one thing i've always wanted was costumes for dragons, because i have seen multiple different dragon models and i've always wondered what they would look like if they had some sort of skin or costume they can have so put your suggestions down below for any costumes or dragon skins you would want for some of your dragons.

We've not been able to track down an easy way to resolve the issue with the server that can be done without potentially re-doing the whole Sky Island system (and even then we do not know where we'd start), so we'll be doing the next best thing, and be doing an OS re-install for the server hardware.

The only difference between the new server and the old server is that we had to choose to use Windows Server 2016, instead of 2012 which is end of life. This should hopefully resolve the weird issues we are having.

Currently the plan is late Sunday Night/Early Monday morning to turn off the server for maintenance and do a backup and then have our new hosting company perform an OS re-install of Windows for us. We will then re-provision and setup the server and turn it back on once that is completed.

This does mean that the server will be down for the majority of Monday as we cannot schedule an exact time for the OS re-install, and can only get a tentative time frame, and we cannot guarantee how long it'll take to re-provision the server.

Again sorry for the inconvenience, we were hoping there would be no issues with the migration, but apparently not even the Dragon's Prophet server can run on a better operating system without having issues .

We are currently experiencing a bug with the Secret Apartments where only the owner can access them, and we are unsure of where the problem is being caused. The issue likely cannot be without a maintenance, so we will have to wait until Monday at the earliest to be dealt with as the unscheduled maintenance today did not solve the issue.

If the issue cannot be resolved by the next maintenance (Monday or Wednesday), I will look at an alternative for players who currently have secret apartments and we may temporarily do away with them until we can fully resolve the issue later on.

Sorry for the inconvenience, especially after a long period of down time from the server migration.

As we will be having an extended maintenance as we do a server migration (to better hardware) I figured I would make a dedicated announcement which will be updated when the migration is finished.

Note, as we are changing hardware, the IP of the server will change so the DNS to the server will be updated (which will begin updating now). It may take up to a day or so for your DNS to update.

The estimated time that the server will be ready is ~3-5AM PST, though it may run longer depending on how much is still needed.

We will be having our weekly routine maintenance at 10 PM PST Wednesday evening. During the maintenance we will be doing the following:

• We will be doing a server migration to new hardware which will hopefully fix some issues we've had infrequently. As a result, maintenance may be much longer than normal.

Maintenance generally lasts between 1-2 hours, though we will announce in the Discord if it will take longer. You can join our Discord by going here: Join the AdeptGamer Discord Server!

There was an issue with the last patch where the new Flutes wouldn't properly unseal and give you access to the usable Flute, so we're going to issue a quick patch to fix that. The server will only be down for a small period of time.

At the same time, some people noticed that there was an additional bag page. I had forgotten I had added one as a test, and as it worked I will be increasing the available Bag, Bank, Furniture and Dragon Chamber space available for players.

Maintenance will start at 10PM PST, and should hopefully end shortly after.

I played on EU servers years ago, left because server issues but still loved the game. I tried many MMO's that I thought could be similar to DP but none really excited me. I just found out about AdeptGamer/DP yesterday and I've been hype all day. Back in my EU server days I barely had a PC that can run DP but now I can run it smoothly so I'm pumped to get back into the Dragon Prophet Life lol. Ohhh and my IGN is Drenomicz so stop by and say Hi

Now that we've gotten to the point that we can update the game and release new data updates, players will need to use the launcher to update their game.

If you cannot receive or see the new Adept Supporter title, cannot see or accept the custom title (when it is sent) or cannot see or see new marketplace items as Grey items, then you do not have an updated client.

A few of the Back Pack/ Bank items that could really do with being mass stacked to 999. Which are needed for crafting or Laedis 102 quests.

: Emerald Gems
: Aquamarine Gems
: Bloody Ore
: Red Blood Crystals
: Napolite Powder (nearly a whole bank page is needed to stock pile this one)

Several craft / Laedis mats also could do with a mass stack :-
Napolite Crystals
Napolite Ore
Dragon Prism Shards
etc.

:

After many delays, and many many many tantrums and rants by both @Dragon and @Light, we've finally gotten to a point that we can begin rolling out some data updates to Dragon's Prophet. To begin with it will mostly be bug fixes, quality of life improvements and the addition of new marketplace items to fill in the blanks for player needs (Who doesn't want a Golden Item Unbinder for level 200 items and below, right?), but we will also be laying more of a foundation for future updates. We are still working on some things needed for new zones/new dungeons, but we can at least begin planning and building things such as items, mobs and new dragons once we get some new textures completed.

We were also hoping to release a new client, however during testing we found that the beta client has a bug where you only have 50% of your normal FPS. Originally we had thought that this was unique to some people, but in fact it happens to everyone and it's going to require a lot of research to resolve. This doesn't prevent us from doing data updates, but it will delay us in adding some things that require source code. While this is being researched we will also probably try to look at the HD textures missing, as well as the general unoptimized state of the client if we can.

I would like to thank all of our players for their patience, whether or not they are currently active, or are waiting for these updates. It's taken a lot of time to get to where we are at with Dragon's Prophet because half of it is reading through poorly commented Chinese code, or poorly thought out systems. All I can say is that there have been a lot of rants by myself, @Dragon and @Light on an almost daily basis.

In regards to bugs like the Laedis 102 Weapon quest, and the broken treasure quests, I will be working on those over the coming week or so. For the Laedis Weapon, I am going to just create a new quest where you can just receive the weapon for the items; this will cut out all of the preliminary questline, and hopefully resolve the issue as I've yet to find how to get that quest. As far as treasure quests go, I will need to look into that further.

As mentioned previously here are a few things that are currently planned:

• Custom Titles - rather than taking the stance EU did with using predatory psychological marketing tricks, we will probably just offer this as a service with the new website platform as it will require an approval process. If approved, the item will be created and then added within 1-2 maintenance; there may also be an option for the title to be exclusive, or for whether or not to make it available in game.
• It's been asked for a while to make it so that multiple powders can be used at a single time, however that is something that cannot be easily done so I will instead be making powders with increased effects. The existing 10% powders will probably be added as a rare reward for dancing or in other ways as I still disagree with encouraging the egg system .
• A Lair Manager Flute! Why? Because I too once dealt with having 100+ eggs and I too suffered through replacing them. That or so they can make room if they have a full stable and run across a wild dragon.
• Possibly a James Brown flute; though we will need to look at the logistics of this, and how we'd go about it.

We are also still looking into re-doing textures, which we can then use to make new textured dragons with different recolors. This is a slow process as we need to establish our own workflow, and look for the optimal way of doing things. We will not be doing what others have done which is basically using Photoshop filters and Macros as that will look worse than the existing textures once we fix the HD texture problem.

We will be having our weekly routine maintenance at 10 PM PST Wednesday evening. During the maintenance we will be doing the following:

• Removed party requirement for dropping materials to create armor sets from Wintertide, Alentia and Inartia.
• Added missing Brasten Dragons (excluding Raybin Ouram, Ansu and Purintor) to Battleground Merchant.
• Changed the cost and removed the requirement for tokens when buying Brasten Dragon Eggs. Eggs are now 1500 and Unhatched Eggs are 2500. This is done so that there is still a need to do a bit of Battlegrounds, but also so that there is no longer a RNG aspect for those who dislike PvP.
• Added Golden Item Unbinder (any level). This will work on any Green, Blue, Purple, Orange or Gold item below level 100.

Maintenance generally lasts between 1-2 hours, though we will announce in the Discord if it will take longer. You can join our Discord by going here: Join the AdeptGamer Discord Server!
