Now that the live test weekend is completed, the server has been rolled back to the backup taken on Friday, and players can play as normal.

We found a few more issues that were passed over during the closed testing that we did, and discovered that the patching system used by Dragon's Prophet is absolutely terrible (we are still having issues with it, and will need to look into fixing it).

Because we are still going to have to fix the patching system, we are releasing a temporary hotfix that needs to be manually downloaded and applied. You will need to download the link below, and then copy it over your Dragon's Prophet folder. Continue using x86 or x64 client, and do not use launcher.

#1:dragons attack while on "stay" command. moderate bug.
#2 some enemies don't move when in combat unless you are very close to them. minor bug.
#3 "may be lag related" Some enemies such as the raptors in omati gorge have bugged animations and teleport around. minor bug.
#4 Mage skill "teleport" will rubber band VERY frequently, mostly in combat. serious bug.
#5 I sometimes when entering a dungeon, the invincibility buff you get for being mounted does not work and you take damage instead of your dragon. Seems rare. moderate bug.
#6 Squelch, the rare in seething cave always seems to die on hard mode. could be my fault but it always seems to happen instantly. moderate bug.

Just Joined for Runes of magic. Super Hyped. i missed out on chapter 1 of rom and always wondered what it would be like. Now i get to experience it!

At Midnight (PST) we will be doing maintenance to backup the current server, and then bring our test server live for the weekend. The main purpose of this is to verify feature parity between the current server, and the test server which will be the foundation for our upcoming updates. It is also to ensure that we know of any bugs before we continue onto the next phase of our update schedule. The testing period will last until Sunday at Midnight (PST) where we will bring back the current live server, rolling back to the backup taken tonight.

In regards to the Saturday GM event, we will do it as we would normally (it will occur on 11am-12pm PST), and we will mail out rewards on Monday. We will also be mailing out Deathwing as it will be unable to be retrieved by players at the end of the month due to the testing period.

As for what to test, players should play the game as they would normally and report bugs that they find during the test period in the bug section of the test forum. In particular we are wanting people to test crafting (at different rarities), mainstory quests, dungeons, Guild PE/Territory PE and anything else you may think will bug.

Becuase this is a very early build of our update, there are a few knonw bugs:

Few chat i ssues, mostly related to linking items or guilds
Sitheran and RG may have lower health and damage than the live server, though this bug is in the process of being fixed.

It may seem as if you should not log in during the test period, but this is the time when we need our players the most. It has been a long 8 months to get the start of our updates prepared, and we want to make sure that when we do start releasing content that it is as bug free an experience as possible for our players. By helping test this update you will be ensuring that any issues will be taken care of.

We've now entered the final stretch for releasing the big update we've been talking about. It will be the first step towards fixing bugs, adding new content, and overhauling game mechanics.

Our staff has been hard at work either working on the server itself, brainstorming new content and mechanics to make the game better, or researching the game as it is currently to better understand the inner workings to lay groundwork for future content.

Here is a tentative (it is subject to change) estimate on what we will be doing and what we plan to do in the future:

October 1st - 7th: Continue bug testing on our test server

October 8th - 9th: Run the test server for the weekend (with intentions of rolling back to Friday). We will do the GM event on Saturday as normal, and the reward will be given out on Monday when the server is back to normal (more on why we want to do this further down).

October 10th - ~: Rollback server and mail all players the event reward. Rates will be updated to 5x Exp, 5x Drop for the week. During this time we will finalize what issues were found during the 8th-9th, and begin fixing the issues that we know of.

~November: We will begin in fixing additional issues we know carry over from the existing server (Treasure Hunter, Laedis 102). We will also be fixing up our tools for developing new content, and preparing our own custom content, some of which may come earlier to keep people occupied. This time will mostly be based around researching methods for implementing suggestions from players, and content that we have been thinking of.

~December - ~January: This is primarily dependent on what happens in November, but our primary focus will be the development of new content (new dragon types, new zone, new dungeons).

We will probably use the following pattern for updates: Bug Fixes -> Quality of Life -> Content.

• Bug fixes updates will be major and minor issues that detract from the gameplay.
• Quality of Life updates will include some bug fixes but focus on changes to improve the gameplay and mechanics
• Content updates will focus on new zones, new bosses, new dungeons, new dragons and new items.

Updates may not follow any particular order and some times we will need to do more bug or quality of life updates than content.

Over the next few weeks I will be posting some polls to see what current content people prefer, and what people would like to see more of in the game. If you wish to have some input on the future of Dragon's Prophet, we will gladly take any opinions or suggestions our players make.

NOTE - there is a guide already that details specifically where everything is in the game aside from these sets. This is simply a guide displaying ALTERNATIVE ways to get this gear, so it's far from a copy, it's more like updated and added stuff that I really hope will be considered to be added to the EU guide! I've used that guide for years and respect the effort that went into it, I wouldn't know any of these sets if not for that guide. None of this information was displayed on the main guide that EU forum has.

So... to begin, I wanted to share some of my knowledge on the sets found all over Auratia, from the 'if looks could kill', to the fancy and finest. There are so many sets in the game, when starting out it's overwhelming and often even if you have played for what seems like an eternity, you end up running into new pieces!

This will provide information on where to find these sets, and some of these sets will have different locations they can be found. Some sets seem to drop in 3 different locations or more, so it gets a little bit confusing when you're trying to figure it all out. I will update this as I find more, and if any information is provided by you guys I'll be more than grateful for it and add it to the list! For now, all I know of is a handful of sets, so there is lots of work to be done.

Now I'd like to add that some of this information might need some tweaking, it's really just based on what I know so let me know if something is out of place or wrong and I will fix that. I only have listed what I'm confident about.

It has come to our attention that certain groups are openly abusing long-standing bugs and exploits in Dragon's Prophet for an unfair advantage over other players. Whether or not these are things that have gone unchecked by the old NA server, or by EU, we will not be allowing such behavior on our server.

People caught abusing it for the first time will be given a warning, the second time will be a temporary ban and a third time will be a permanent block from our servers entirely.

For people who have already abused these bugs, we have a list of every character and every time that these bugs have been abused, and if they are abused again you will be permanently banned due to the number of times that these have been abused. Any complaints or arguing will be ignored as we have no pity for cheaters who cannot play fairly with the rest of our community.

Many people need and want the core of devouring dragon for the laedis 94 weapon(s). Some of us have been trying to form a group from time to time. In my experience, only a few really join in from the start.
Hardly anyone like iols but if we would get at least 10 players it goes pretty fast and can do quite a few consecutive runs in just an hour or 2. You do not even need that many runs as well, I do hope that people that are already finished could join in as well, even if it's just for praying or farming for a 2nd or even 3rd core.

Thing is the time of course, when could we do this? I would propose to do it after the weekly event on Saturday, I know it's not perfect for everyone, but post your suggestions if you have them.

Hey! Stumbled on this server after watching a youtube video today, and thought what the heck - let's give this a try. So here i am, a big fan of new private Runes of Magic servers and the nostalgia of a lvl 50 cap. This may be looking promising. Just a quick question, are this server hosted in the US or the EU? Been looking around the page ,and couldn't find really find any information about the difference between the official dragon's Prophet server and this one I've got a couple of friends are playing and other than increased XP rates they haven't really been able to tell me too much but they said they are having fun and once I get home I plan on joining up with him and playing but I was just curious if anybody could tell me the differences other than the fact that it seems to Dev here have been more active in 6 months then their deaths for the official game have been in 2 years

Dragon training levels doesn't increase base stats of the dragon however what it does is that it gives attribute points that is free for you to spend on your dragon at the lair manager at the dragon training tab. And it's these points that boosts your basestats by a certain percentage
At level 100 you have 1605 points to spend however it's difficult to spend it so that you have 0 attribute points remaining. It's possible but this doesn't nessecarily mean it's the best setup.
Anyways for maxing out 3 stats it's impossible to have 0 points remaining, however starting from 2 attributes points remaining it's possible.
For 2 attribute points remaining the only combination is
30/30/17
For 3 attribute points remaining this is:
28/26/25
For 4 attribute points remaining we have:
30/28/20
27/27/25
For 5 attribute points remaining we have 1 combination:
29/29/20
For 7 attribute points remaining we got this 1:
27/26/26
If we want to achieve 0 points remaining with 4 stats combinations are:

As for maxing out with 5 stats, don't ask me I'm too noob for that.
But what I can give you is that:
A lvl 27 stat needs the same amount of points as a lvl 25 stat and lvl 10 stat
A lvl 27 stat needs the same amount of points as 2 lvl 19 stats
A lvl 19 stat needs the same amount of points as a lvl 18 stat and lvl 6 stat
A lvl 10 stat needs the same amount of points as a lvl 9 stat and lvl 4 stat
A lvl 6 stat needs the same amount of points as a lvl 5 stat and lvl 3 stat
