Bin durch zufall und weil mir Dragons Prophet gerade mal wieder eingefallen ist über diese Art von Server gestolpert komm aber nicht weiter Falls hier einer Deutsch Spricht ich würde mich über ein klein wenig Hilfe Freuen da ich bis zum Login komm E-Mail und PW eingebe aber die soll ich angeblich überprüfen bin aber 100% sicher das beide von mir Richtig eingegeben worden sind.

I was trying to store a dragon in my lair storage, but it keeps saying "You cannot have a Dragon" I am guessing it means I can't put it in lair storage because it has a dragon companion. I tried to donate it to the academy and it said I couldn't due to conflict with a companion. I was hoping to at least store it then. Is there a way around this? I only ever put 1 companion on it years ago, can it be removed?

So I've been setting up the game and I noticed that my character and the NPCs have unusually low poly faces and bodies (especially the eyes!), which I found odd since I maxed everything out - and then I saw that the texture quality in the settings was set to medium. I set it to high, it said I needed to restart, and... it was still medium with no changes.

After that, I have done the following:
- I ran the launcher to make sure everything is up to date, and I set the texture LOD (which was also set at 2 out of 3, that is, medium) to 3 in the launcher settings as well. The game still launched with medium textures.

- I then found the config.ini in the game root folder, where I found the option "MaxTextureLOD" which I realized corresponded to the texture settings after some testing. If textures were set to low in-game, that "MaxTextureLOD" in the config.ini file would be 0. If the settings were set to medium, it would be 1. If the textures were set to high, it would be 1. I then tried setting it to 2 which would correspond to high only for the game to crash at start up.

- Afterwards, I spent 10 minutes just trying random numbers in the config.ini file for the textures. Setting it to 7 or something like that would have everything be super low poly. Setting it to 10 has the statue in the login screen be super high poly, but the characters super low poly, and other such experiments.

- I then went to the forum and I saw that someone else had this issue around 5 years ago, here: Bug Report - Solved - Texture Quality?? Bug Report - Solved - Texture Quality 'High'?.... doubt, but it was reported to have been fixed in a new client and that beta testing for that client is out. Since I'm getting the issue, does that mean that the client update still hasn't happened? But that seems odd since the original report was 5 years ago. Can that beta client be accessed? Did I perhaps download a wrong version? Or maybe this is related to my drivers? I am running AMD.

Edit: And I'll also add that the version I am seeing in the launcher is 3.0.1817.live, for clarification.

Hello, I'm a "returning player" of sorts. I've never been a fan of MMOs nor had I ever put in any real time into any of them - besides one. This game. This game meets my niche completely, as a dragon "fanatic" of sorts. This game is my "teenagehood" and the rocky-ness of its lifetime has been a sad thing for me.

I got a strong itching to play it and was thinking about it strongly recently, only to remember and see that this private server is still up. God bless the people developing, maintaining and playing this game. You people truly deserve all the best, and so do the original developers. I love this game, and I love you guys for letting me play it again. It is truly a woe that it doesn't have a large following, as it is the only MMO that ever caught my attention (the rest were incredibly boring). Perhaps we're just a weird bunch.

While I'm here, I suppose I'd ask two things while the client is downloading:
- I see that there's two currencies on this website, "Platinum" and "Credits". I already seem to have a fair amount of Credits from what was probably my playthrough from a couple of years ago, I recall the site being different back then. Are Credits a free currency? How does one earn Credits? Is it from the game or perhaps something that needs to be done on this site?

- I saw the "Merchandise" option on the left hand side, and I'd be interested in buying a shirt or something perhaps (not sure if shipping to Serbia would even be possible), just as a little token of the only MMO I ever liked, but when I press the button it just leads me to a Cloudflare Error 1000 "DNS points to prohibited IP". Is this a temporary thing? What's the status there?

PS: I did manage to login to my old account, but the forum name "DumbNFat" is a bit crude and I'd like to change it if possible - I did finish college and I'm on track to lose 40kg, so neither really applies anymore, hah. A fragment of old times.
