Bug Report Game Crash at Launch

Hey bud. I have a AMD Ryzen 8700.

I will go ahead and try uninstalling and reinstalling. If not, I will redownload and follow that process. As far as checking if the app doesn't fully shut down, I will look at my task manager.

Update: So I managed to get the game running and to my surprise, during my very first dungeon, app closed on its own. And after I tried to restart the app, same thing happened again. Not sure if this is a sign but this feels like I am throwing my Sunday down the drain.
I have a strange feeling might be something to do with amd drivers? I have a 9070xt and amd ryzen 7900x. Crashes on launch every time. But I have not had a chance to try older drivers yet

What graphics card do you have?

The first thing to do, if you haven't, is uninstall and reinstall. If it still happens, you could try downloading the client again. Even following the instructions perfectly can't stop a random hiccup.

Otherwise, it kind of sounds like your initial session isn't fully shutting down, somehow, thus causing a conflict? You could try looking through the task manager to check on that.

I presume there are other possibilities, but my tech savvy is limited.

Bug Report Game Crash at Launch

Good day folks. Just joined the ranks of you guys while looking to replay this great game. I followed the install guide to a Tee and now when I try to launch the game, I find myself having to restart my PC after every subsequent launch as it just closes immediately. Tried searching on the forums for something related to a fix on this. Not sure what else to do at this point except restart my rig every single time. Any info would be appreciated.
This is probably better for a ticket, as it's a weird edge case.

Next time you play, take a screenshot of your task manager before and after you close the game, and see if the .exe closes properly.

Sneak-Peeks of New Dragons

Edited original post. Due to my inactivity, I could not justify continuing to have posts locked behind paid memberships, and so all sneak peek posts have now been made free to access.

DP is not something I have forgotten about, and I still have projects I would like to do/finish, but between a full-time job and my tendon issues, it's difficult to find the time, motivation, and/or feel well enough to finish/start any projects.
Real reason is that she doesn't love us anymore :(.

Marketplace Dragon Requests

Dryadia, To be honest, you've disappointed me a bit.
What you mean, are these dragons so easy to acquire that I just cannot manage it?

Immediately confrontational, setting the tone for your whole post.

This is just a place where players submit their requests. I could have written Grim Reaper here if I wanted to, right? But I didn't.
I even asked you about Hell Blood before. Weren't you the ones who said it didn't seem very likely to own this dragon egg?
Since this place where people share their wishes has turned into a discussion forum open to comments, I might as well write down my thoughts...

Yes, this is a place for people to submit suggestions, ideas or their opinion. But it is also where people can join the discussion and share their own opinions, which Dryadia did. She did so politely, and pointed out where to get them. She could have added some more information about how she or others have gotten them when they have disabilities (which she has), but whether she did or not she did not deserve the attitude you gave her.

I could also include the previous posts you have made, but it's not really worth the effort.

I also have paralysis in some of my fingers. Did I ever ask you for anything? and why is this request so difficult?

But you know what?

I don't want to prolong this and hurt anyone's feelings. I'll be the bigger person. I'm leaving the server. I'm deleting all my characters. I'm deleting them from my computer too.

I will never forgive members who criticize and belittle Dryadia, Seiichi, and others without understanding them. I hope you'll be happy, because this is entirely your fault. I'm leaving because of you ...

There are many players on this server who have had disabilities (including one who could only play with assistive devices due to ALS before they passed away a few years ago); this has nothing to do with your disabilities or any disabilities anyone else may have. The request itself is not hard, but justifying the request is. By monetizing gameplay rewards it goes against what the server has mostly tried to do which is to overall limit the amount of money people need to pay to enjoy the game; you buying something someone spent months for is a slap in the face to the people who put the effort in.

It is up to you to leave the server or not, but you are doing so due to your own decision because you have been called out on your behavior, nothing more and nothing less. If you believed there was a communication issue, than say it was a communication issue and reformulate what you meant. Truly, the only bigger person in this thread has been Dryadia who stepped away after getting upset and choosing to disengage herself 🤷‍♂️.

Regardless, enjoy yourself elsewhere, but you are welcome to play here if you choose to come back. I just ask that you watch how you talk to people, including me.

Marketplace Dragon Requests

First of all, I need to say this: I absolutely never tried to bother Dryadia or any other forum or server user. Let's agree on that. If other users were bothered by what I wrote or said, that's their problem, not mine. I made a polite and appropriate request. It was a mistake from the start for her to come there and try to give advice. What? Don't I know how to do research online? Don't I know how to look at the Dragon's Prophet wiki page? I'm someone with years of experience with Dragon's Prophet. I'm 42 years old. and There are no children in front of her or you. First, try to understand what people are writing and trying to say, emotionally. Don't try to criticize.

Marketplace Dragon Requests

Split this off from the other thread.

First, and this may be a language barrier thing, but you really need to work on how you interact with people. I am not saying this to be mean to you, or to belittle you, however in this instance and previously you come across in a way that is off-putting and I will generally be disinclined to help you. In the case of giving that attitude to Dryadia, she is one of the oldest (in age and playtime) players on this server, and she could likely get the people who have the ability to get you those dragons to help her simply by asking.

As far as your request, I am very much against adding gameplay rewards to the marketplace to monetize off them. It is unfair to the players who put in the effort to earn those rewards (they are purposely made difficult to get) and secondly because such actions have historically gotten backlash from both sides in one way or another. We have made the Black Swan cosmetic available which massively pissed off a part of our community in the past, and we have gotten complaints for years about the Napolite Gacha (this was inherited from a previous server, and I have only adjusted rates to be more fair); the reverse has also gotten backlash where we have tried to pull back monetizing these, and it just creates headaches.

There is something I am planning on where we may look at implementing rarer gameplay rewards into.

There will be some new Dragons coming soon, I am just busy with health, and work.

Marketplace Dragon Requests

Dear Seiichi,

I have a small request. I'm not sure if this is the right place for this, but I'll try to be very clear and concise.
There are only a handful of people on the server. It's not about the server itself. There aren't many players who truly understand and appreciate Dragon's Prophet these days.
I have only one request. Please, without disappointing the players, add some dragon eggs to the market.
I know the server stays running as long as people are buying from the website. I also love Dragon's Prophet, and the server environment is pleasant and suitable. I've bought diamonds from the website and used them to shop in the market many times before. I've bought it before. I'll buy it again. No problem.
But ... Please listen to these few remaining players.
If you can add 2 dragons eggs of any one of them to the shop for a price, I'll buy them immediately.
I've actually searched for these dragons, searched Web and asked old players. But, since I realized it's not possible and I cannot acquire them on my own, I'm asking for your help. If you can add Hell Blood or Golden Emperor eggs, or any of them, to the shop, I'll buy them immediately.

But please take what I said into consideration.
Please try not to lose the few remaining players ..

Suggestion Planned Silia for 2?

Looked into this just now, but it looks as adding a condition based on party size will be the easiest way to balance the difficulty of the dungeon.

Cooldown of the Dissolving Core is also going to be reduced to 23 seconds, and we'll see if that works. This probably will not go live immediately.
I just tried to do Silia with a friend of mine, we're both pretty strong. The issue we have isn't damage, the issue lies in not being able to use the Dissolving Core often enough to make sure the boss doesn't go into Berserk Mode. With the current state of the game it is extremely difficult to find anyone to do party dungeons with. I was wondering if you'd be able to remove the Cool Down on the Dissolving Core.
