I started playing on Adept about 19 days ago, I didn't have any issues with DC's or ping (albeit I've seen so many complain about it) - but I started getting it myself around 2 days ago. I've heard that there was some testing going on with the servers and it started happening just around that time so I wonder if that's it.

I usually have around 150 ping (I'm guessing the servers are in NA or something) but now it started going up to 600 or more whenever I try to fight anything, making me unable to attack at all or see the enemy's attacks. It's become very difficult to play. This only started happening in the last 48 hours and didn't happen a single time during my entire playthrough to level 108.

The last maintenance was to add an additional server for load balancing and critical services that were being affected by the DDoS. The DDoS is still ongoing, and depending on region you live in you may be affected by the mitigation service. Other than the steps we've taken, the next option is to add an additional layer mitigation, but that may be problematic for people in areas that are high risk for DDoS botnets.

You can try doing a tracert, and see where the issue with ping is happening or try using a VPN, which may help by lessening the hops you have to the server, or by bypassing the mitigation service.

I can no longer login at all. It just says that "The client has been disconnected from the server. Please reconnect." I almost never make it past 50% on the menu, but sometimes it goes up to 90-ish percent.

Try logging in on another character, and or try porting to Arteicia.

As far as the Tracert goes, you do not seem to have an issue with routing to the server, and ping seems within normal range for connections from Europe.

I've tried with varying results. I've done over 40 attempts at login-ins and only a few have actually managed to connect. I'd get into the game with my ping being more often at 300+ than 150, which would quickly go up to 4000+ if I tried to battle anything - after which I'd get another disconnect. It seems more stable on my laptop than my PC despite the PC having a direct connection to my modem through LAN while the laptop is merely connected to it by wifi. But, I can't actually play on the laptop - seeing as I get 10 FPS. I've been playing on my computer for 2 weeks without a single issue and a constant 150 ping, this is an entirely recent problem and I haven't done anything on my side which could enable it.

It seems to have stabilized now. I got 10 out of 10 logins without DC this time. I guess it was just a 2 day long server blockage.

I meant to reply, but I've been busy preparing a large data patch so got sidetracked.

Part of the issue is where you are located; a large portion of the attacks we get are from that area, so you're going to get flagged by the mitigation service. As the attack pattern changes, or lessens it will be less of an issue.

Hopefully the people DDoSing stop at some point as it doesn't really affect the larger server population, and is mostly just hurting people they want to play on their server.
