I'm doing the Hidden Expanse secret questline (Wintertide Hidden Quest Guide) in Wintertide. I've done all the steps and obtained the Frost Key. However, the NPC Nicholas Tolir in Ironfang Heights is supposed to give a quest called "A Giant Investigation". Only problem is, he isn't giving the quest and I can't find any reason why.
I included a screenshot of the NPC and his empty dialouge box.

EDIT: For some reason, the quest ONLY appears after doing a nearby quest from a sword. I'm not sure if this is intentional or a bug anymore. It's not mentioned anywhere

so I get to this game because a love fantasy, especially dragons obviously. And whats best, they fight by your side and you can ride them. 10/10 lol. Also i really enjoy the gameplay and the community. Altought the visuals are outdated i still find myself enjoying some scenery when flying on the back of my dragon.

Hi all this is Haildrake AKA Torrice in game and this is a quick helper guide to help your grind Battle Exp as fast as possible.

Alright so 1st off here is a link to the basic overview of the dragon combat exp table on the dragon prophet wiki: Dragon Combat Skills
It has things I will reference here in the guide.

[The Numbers]
The List below shows the number of Combat XP and Companion XP Needed to LVL any grey dragon skill (Companion XP coverts every 600xp to 1 combat XP point)

• Level 1-2 - 800 x 600 = 480,000
  
• Level 2-3 - 1760 x 600 = 1,056,000
  
• Level 3-4 - 2880 x 600 = 1,728,000
  
• Level 4-5 - 4160 x 600 = 2,496,000
  
• Level 5-6 - 5800 x 600 = 3,480,000
  
• Level 6-7 - 8320 x 600 = 4,992,000
  
• Level 7-8 - 11200 x 600 = 6,720,000
  
• Level 8-9 - 14820 x 600 = 8,892,000
  
• Level 9-10 - 18920 x 600 = 11,352,000
  
• Total XP - 68660 x 600 = 41,196,000

[The Places]
As long and your fighting with a dragon out it will gain Companion exp but here are a few good grinding spots
Juno Gallery Crystal - Easiest Dungeon to run on the list. The mobs are all vary giving out from ~ 400 Companion xp from bugs to ~ 11k from dragons and tough mobs.
Aymori Sands - Link to other guide for more details: Guide - Arid Sandstalker Dragon- Battle Exp in full
Dunar Temple - One of the most mob infested Dungeons in the game so no more need to be said
Moran Cavern - When run on adventure mode the boss often drops 108 blue pet gear
Dragon Heart Temple - One of the best spots for high tiered mobs

P.S. if you do instance runs with folks all exp gets averaged out
For instance: Instead of earning 7000 exp for killing a mob the dungeon alone I get 5500 averaged out in the dungeon.

Dragon lair training vs grinding (Passive XP vs Active XP)
Dragon Lair:
- Set amount of Exp gained for every hour
- Diamonds can be use to hasten the gathering
- Multiple dragons trained in one go
- Less Hassle
Grinding:
- Dungeon loot from repeated runs
- Helps increase Rare dragon spawning
- Completely free (Diamonds are not necessary for anything)
- Helps with Guild rep/ Daily,weekly, monthly procedures.

I'm writing here, beacuse I don't know if I'm the only bugged or its just like this, but the mentioned item "Dragon Soul Skill Purification Potion its only available in diamonds marketplace.
All other useful potions and skills (except some) are available also for Dragon Insignias, why only that potion it isn't?

It is possible to make that potion available also for Dragon Insignias?

Given recent events with some players selling their accounts, and the people buying them not thinking, I am having to address the subject and put forth an official stance on it

Buying & Selling Accounts

Like with many player interactions, it is pretty much impossible to enforce certain things that can happen outside of the game. As such we cannot ban or prevent the buying or selling of game or network accounts.

In the case of selling individual game accounts, because of the way that we have setup our registration system all game accounts are owned by the network account, which means that the person who owns the network account can take back a game account at any given time. They control the password, and the secondary password of any game account.

In the case of selling a network account, because of the multiple account policy that we have you would be in violation of that which can eventually lead to a ban. At the very least, having multiple network accounts will get both account restricted.

We also provide no support for the buying or selling of accounts; if you get scammed, that is on you and we aren't obligated to step in and deal with the situation.

We will also not transfer game accounts, merge network accounts or modify data on an account.

Sharing Accounts

Because this is somewhat in the same vein as Buying & Selling accounts, I will address this as well.

This is again something that really cannot be banned or prevented, so we turn a blind eye to it as I know many people will share accounts with their significant other, family or their friends and in many cases that will have no repercussions. However in the chance that there is a falling out, and things go missing due to theft or deletion, it is unlikely that we will step in.

On the chance that someone has been exploiting or cheating on a shared account, the account owner and the person cheating and exploiting will both be dealt with.

This policy is going to be strict going forward, and if you come to any staff regarding either of these matter you will just be forwarded to this or bluntly told we do not provide support.

i had the idea already on Eu-Server, but since you seem to be able to do modifications on dragons, i place it here as well, since many ppl liked it back then.

idk if its even possible to make dragons as twoseaters (maybe a new dragon family?) - but if so i think it would be a nice new option to have them

Here is the latest Dragon that Aiden has been working on: Atropus, the Baleful Shadow, a happy little accident of science Aiden made while showing Sovi techniques with textures. He takes inspiration from several different varieties of deadly nightshade.

Players who have Atropus will have either the title "Master of Shadow" or "Mistress of Shadow", depending on the gender of your character. Atropus will also scale with either Ferocity, Focus or Dragon Affinity once I make a final decision.

We have also started making some conversions of untameable Dragons, but those will be rolled out slowly over time or will be delayed until we come up with how we want to make them available in game.

I'm an old player of DP and slowly working my way back to what I was before DP's closure. I mainly play PvE and while I don't particularly enjoy PvP content, I will try to join in if I feel I am able to do so.

Hello, I have a problem with my dragon, Congealed Flame. I'm not sure if this problem was posted before or if this was actually an intended feature but it bothers me a lot.
My Congealed Flame looked like this before evolution:


And after evolution he lost that beautiful glow completly:

Yes, I know that I can just turn on and off the option to display evolution effect on dragons, but I want to have it turned on. Is there any other way to fix this issue? It bothers me a lot, because I loved this dragon's look when he glowed and now... well :C. I'm sorry if this is an intended feature, but I want to report it anyway.

One more thing, when previewed in a link the dragon is also missing his glow effect.

I bought 1000 platinum, and the equivalent diamonds for Dragon's Prophet. But when I went to redeem them, I couldn't click on my name, then when I hit submit, they vanished. It's been a good 30 minutes, and there's no sign of them in my account.

We have finished setting up the translation platform, and waiting only on uploading the existing Turkish language strings so that the majority of the Turkish translation will be complete. As such we are going to start looking for translators for the following languages:

• Chinese (Traditional)/Taiwanese
• Dutch
• French
• German
  
• Italian
• Japanese
• Portuguese (Brazil); this is going to be needed from scratch.
• Russian
• Turkish

Every language except for Portuguese (Brazil) is based off of existing translations that just need the missing strings added from our English strings. The reason we are adding Portuguese (Brazil) and not any other language currently is because they have one of the larger populations on our server without their own language option. We will consider other languages, however it is dependent on a) there being people willing to translate and b) there being a large enough basis for there to be a translation.

If you wish to translate for any of the above languages you will need to fit the following criteria:

• Have a decent understanding of English, as that is what you will be translating from. This is to mostly minimize the amount of questions being asked when translating.
• You must have a strong understanding of the language you are translating to.
• You must have a Discord account and have joined our Discord server: Join the AdeptGamer Discord Server!. This is required because we have a section on our Discord so that translators can ask me to verify any translations.

I will likely be a bit picky with who we choose to do our translations, as I am not going to choose people who are likely to purposely do bad translations, or deface the translation in anyway.

Currently there are between 1000 and 2000 strings (Probably around 10,000 and 20,000 words) that need to be translated for each language. For Portuguese the full translation is needed which is currently around 276,867 words and 1,366,601 strings. We will likely be needing strings translated once or twice a month with a varying number of strings/words needing to be translated.

About time I introduced after finally getting around to playing the game so I'm VickyDragon. I had other characters on old DP, but never really played them and stuck to my main.

I stopped playing old DP some time after Sitheran because their really wasn't much I could do anymore. I tried Savage Hunt as well but couldn't get into it. I came here after seeing a comment by an old friend/guildmate on the announcement for the game's closure.

I started DP after Bakra was closed so I'm excited to see it for myself and I'm also excited to learn the game all over again.

Hello, I'm not sure if this was posted before but I still decided to post it.

Recently I was doing the main questline in Alentia and encountered a problem with quest called "Den of Chaos" in which the player has to rescue a legendary dragon Morick from a cave. The problem is... The dragon appears, walks ultra slowly for a short while and... disappears. He did it at least 20 times... (Yes, I tried killing all the mobs nearby) After many, many tries, he finally bugged out and the quest moved forward. Not really a big issue, but it was extremly annoying, so I decided to report it just in case.

So, i play ranger in a rather specific way, wich makes it neccessary for me to Level a couple dragon Mount skills, but its so hard to get dragon riding points to the point where it is not funny anymore. Just to get the last Level of my razorspine Mount buff i would need to get over 50k riding points, wich would be the equivalent to attacking yourself over a thousand Times in qualification round of dragon arena for just 1 level, and even if you went first place in the monthly leaderboard it would only be 10k per month, wich would mean to wait 5 months for 1 level, wich already is an unrealistic scenariao for almost all players. Im not asking to up it by much, i just dont want to spend over 20 hrs in dragon arena just attacking myself like i did on eu again.

Because there will be newer members who are not aware that we made changes to certain items to prevent house stacking, here is a list of all the objects I know currently cannot be stacked.
