Focus or Constitution for Dragon

Old returning player, just want to have some fun with the game not necessarily midmax and was wondering whats the best stat to have a dragon last around you in PVE fights. ( i plan to go with Duskreavers, Fabled and Ancient Fable.)

Thank you for any answer.

I agree that it wouldn't hurt to do both stats, but maybe leaning more toward constitution for the HP buffer, since healing skills have a cooldown and you have no control of the dragon's decision to use them.

There are also learnable/trainable skills that will boost focus and constitution (and the others), plus skills for increasing nat/elem/ds resistance and "tough/magic skin" for phys/mag defense (stalwarts tend to have these, in my experience). "Life sacrifice" isn't something I've found much use for, personally, though it may be better in endgame when you've gotten everything overstatted and sharded up and don't typically take a lot of damage.

Go Consti on Fabled and Ancient, they already got a higher stat value.
Got my Fabled max Consti, almost max Fero (for big Dragon Soul regen with Sould Drain), rest is Focus/DA. That guys job is mainly not dying, buffing/healing and Souleater Impact debuffing.

For Ancients try using the combo of Forceful Sweep and Vampiric Sweep. Ancients tend to prioritize Sweep attack and since it's a three-stage attack with last hit AoE it can heal quite well with Vampiric. Otherwise they're just big dumb-dumbs.

Also don't forget to invest in Charsima, you can build the best dragon ever but it will still suck if it's not boosted by Charisma bonus. XD
