Question about the pop up quests along the roads

I play with my sister, we are always in a group. When we get the little pop up quests along the road and such (sorry I forget what they are called) 90% of the time, my sister cannot do anything with them, and she gets no reward.

For instance, earlier there was a basket in the road, she couldn't even see it. I picked it up and got the xp and gold and such, she got nothing. We just found a body in the road, she could see it but not interact with it. I clicked on it and got all the rewards, and see got nothing.

Yesterday we came across one of the kids that you have to send home, she was able to do that one, but it wasn't along the road, but off the road in the woods (East Parsing Woods). we also came across the guy looking for the treasure chest twice, and she couldn't click on the chest either time. Both of those were off the road, in the woods as well.

I haven't quested in a group until now, only done dungeons and guild stuff in groups, so have no idea if this is just how it goes, or is it bugged?

What you're referring to are the street quests, and whoever triggers them receives the reward, or can interact with them.

Yeah, sometimes we both get them, and it counts for both of us though.

Yeah, not all quests allow that.
