We have the new server hardware prepared at the new data center, and have provisioned it so we are going to be migrating to it during todays maintenance. Maintenance may run longer than usual tomorrow, and there also may be issues with connecting to the server after maintenance depending on the DNS propagation of your ISP.

If you run into issues with DNS propagation, you can use the following server address in the client.ini to connect to the new server immediately, rather than waiting on your DNS. Do not change to this new server address until Maintenance starts, or you will not be able to connect to current server.

Just curious where the server is located. I may want to use ExitLag if needed.

We are provisioning the new web server, and are likely going to move to it within the next few days in preparation for moving the Dragon's Prophet server within the next week or so.

If you are having issues connecting to Dragon's Prophet you will need to check your client.ini and see what server it is connecting to.

If it is using dp.adept.llc change that to server.dragonsprophet.online; this is only needed until the other DNS setting propogates.

Here is proof that i had the light colored version of Ebony Thorn.
But it's not in my dragon chamber anymore, it somehow disappeared.
I know of 2 other people who also had it, and it's not in their dragon chamber either.
Please see if it can be re-implemented in game.

So this is a pretty minor thing as it only happens every minute or so for like a second at a time, but the 7 piece set effect for ele Res from the Laedis 102 set seems to disappear. I can't confirm if it really does disappear or if the UI just doesn't catch up with the stats in game when the game refreshes the buff as it's pretty hard to test. Also I'm not sure if that issue only appears with ranger Laedis set. I'm just adding this as a "for the record" type of thing though as it's nothing major.

idk if it would be "easy" to reduce the cooldown of the dissolving cores low enough - if thats possible it would already be fine i guess.
if not, would you consider tolerating the bug way again?

i´m asking because its really hard with the actual player base to find groups strong and motivated enough.
with the change it would be motivation for the strong ones to farm it more on the one hand, and easier to help new or weaker players on the other hand, so they dont need to beg all the time or already give up before beginning.

Once i open the game map my dps drops from 60+ to 1-2 fps.
checking task manger if anything is really high but everything was normal.

Because we have gotten to a point that there is more than minor updates to announce, I figured I'd do an actual development update.

As mentioned in the last response I had to the prior update, we have fixed the major bugs that were found and are now having testers go through to see if there are any more issues that need to be resolved. We are now having testers look for any other possible bugs to see if there is anything game breaking that needs to be addressed before we polish up the update and start working to release it.

Of the bugs that we fixed, one was related to cosmetic wings not displaying or equipping properly, and that they did not work as expected when swapping costume slots. This required a lot of reverse engineering as the implementation was completely changed to other wings, and required accounting for many edge cases and variables.

The other main issue that we have had to work on is with applying new stat values to hatched Dragons, and accounting for changes we needed to make to do so. The biggest change we had to make is that we are no longer applying a bonus stat to hatched Dragons, and are instead going to have them use the new stat values. For people who are panicking about losing stats, the new maximum stat value for wild and hatched Dragons is 9/11.7 vs 6/6.96 (wild) or 6/10.44 (hatched). To get this done a lot of changes had to be made on the backend, and we have also made it so that rare Dragons are no longer arbitrarily set to a lower stat value. When we release the update we will be removing all bonus stats from existing Dragons; we will be doing a stat adjustment for rare Dragons that have a maximum bonus value, otherwise they will use the base stats they had.

We are also doing some experiments to see if we can increase the performance of the client, and have found some avenues to do so but we're unsure of just how big an improvement it will be. For comparison, my setup with every setting maxed out (Using FXAA and medium textures) the current live client is around ~31-35 FPS. The new experimental client (Using FXAA and high textures) has 35-46 FPS. This is obviously reliant on individual hardware, but there should be some improvement for everyone.

Other than source code development Aiden has been working on of the pony concepts from the White Stallion/Frightmare coloring contest (including a concept Vipera had submitted on the side as an avatar).
