I am curious as to what classes and/or builds people most enjoy and least enjoy fighting.
So, after you have voted, I would appreciate it if you could give a brief description of both your most and least favourite class to fight and why?
Maybe you find a particular player hard to beat, or a set of skills that you really like/dislike. I curious about your opinion so please leave a message.

Guide Zone Dragons (Daily Dragons)

Welcome to the Guide to the Day Dragons.

Question: What is a daily dragon?
Answer: Daily dragons are dragons like cobalt lightning, midnight shadows that have a fixed spawn day, but I also list the 3-5 day dragons, more on that later.

Attention: This is my first Guide in English. if u see typing mistakes or still a german word. tell me :)
Not all Roads are available. I have to upload a few.

Description and tips for legendary dragons

Many are probably wondering what exactly is meant by the description. I'll put in an example here and explain the descriptions in more detail to make it easier for readers who don't play for more than 3 months.

Example: Dark Flame
  • Wilderness level: 95
  • Required level for taming: from 89 with dragon influence; 93 without influence
  • Spawn cycle: once in 3-6 days
  • Comes from flutes: yes
  • Spawn time shift: 10 minutes +/-
  • Grants title: Yes
  • Titlename: Dark Flame's Fury
Spawn mechanism:

The times are reduced or added up to approx. 20 minutes.
I.e. when i write 14:40 i mean that he can spawn between 14: 20-15 o'clock.

Full moon
2:05 5:05 8:05 11:05 14:05 17:05 20:05 23:05

waning moon
4:05 7:05 10:05 13:05 16:05 19:05 22:05 1:05

increasing Moon
still unknown

new moon
3:05 6:05 9:05 12:05 15:05 18:05 21:05 0:05

So. Now one after the other.

1. The level:

  • The level says everything theoretically right? However, it should be said that it is possible to tame a dragon that is 7 levels higher than your own character. However, this was only tested with one class (the archer / windrunner). Regularly 5 levels are no problem.
2. Required level:

  • dragon influence? So what is that? Dragon influrence shortens the time you need to tame. That means it increases the effect of the yellow taming bar when you catch a dragon
3. Spawntact:

  • A legendary dragon does not spawn daily or every few hours (with a few exceptions), they randomly spawn on patch day (up to 24 hours after) and after a 3-6 day time lapse. I.e. if the dragon was caught, it could spawn again after 62 hours. Here you should pay attention to the "can".
4. Flutes? What flutes?

  • this get updatet ;)
5. Spawn time shift - what please ?:

  • It should be remembered that the times given are not fixed times. It is only orientation data that should roughly show you when he is coming. With the shift up and down, you can roughly determine the time lapse in which it can appear. However, all of this is only theoretical!
6. Title:
  • Most legendary dragons give a title.
7. Spawn Mechanisms:
  • You can find information on this above.

____

There is a daily order that should be treated as follows. If you are unsure which one is currently on ask in the Worldchat. Or take a look in this link:https://spawns.dragonsprophet.online/
Thanks to Seiichi for the link.

Dailyorder:

Day 1:Cobalt Lightning (35), death phantom (110)
Day 2: Tonapah shadow (107)
Day 3: Midnight shadow (55), Son of Tyre(103)
Day 4:Shrouded Carnage (65)
-> After day 4 it changes back to day 1

FAQ
Q:How do I know which legendary dragon is coming on which day?
A:Here in the forum is a list in which some dragons are "days" that often prove to be correct.

Q:How do I know if the dragon comes during the day or at night? / At what hour does the dragon come?
A:I don't have any information about that yet, but you should have found common ground. Write me a PM here-

Q: Does a dragon roar while spawning?
A:Yes, all legendary dragons roar when spawning. They roar in 3 different sound types depending on how close they are to you.

Q:Are all legendary dragons roaring?
A:Yes, all legendary dragons roar.

Information, definition of terms and other

spawn mechanism
The newly discovered spawn mechanism is still relatively new and therefore immature. Please understand that it is not yet completely correct and is still in the research base. If you experience spawns or see a legendary dragon extremely outside of my times, please let me know with a screenshot via PN (private message). Thank you!

The dragons affected by the moon mechanism (all except the dragons that appear regularly every 3 hours) never spawn at a fixed time. That means you can only roughly consider the direction in terms of minutes and hours when he spawned.

Very important! On spawn day, the legendary dragons will NOT spawn according to the times here from the guide!

Moon phases? So what is that?
Here in Dragon Prophet there are phases of the moon, i.e. full moon, new moon, waning ... etc.

But how do you find out what which moon is?
In general, it is very easy.

The order is as follows:
New moon - full moon - waning moon - waxing moon

Day 1 - Day 2 - Day 3 - Day 4
In other words, every day has its own moon. And on the 5th day it starts again with a new moon.

But what kind of moon do we have today?
There are different ways to recognize that.

Either you wait until it is night and read the moon, you look in the moon table in my guide or you wait until a catch message appears from one of the 3-hour legendaries.

Well, the non-3 hour legendaries are dependent on the phases of the moon. If there were a full moon today, you could expect when Dark flame appears.

Practical, isn't it? ;)

The stones you have to pick up can be found almost anywhere in Olandra. Be it in the water, on mountains or in the country.

These can usually be picked up and look something like this:

(picture needs to be updated)

To "utilize" these you need 10 pieces. As soon as you have 10 of them you go to the enclosure manager in Wift. Next to this administrator is a researcher who will give you a flute.

(Picture needs to be updated)

This flute can be played in the sanctuary. The dragon is then Lv. 99 and has a random number of slots. Good luck with the search - positions are being entered here gradually - if you want to yeast, send me a PM, thanks!

There are 3 ways to get this kite. Either you collect 10 pieces and hand them over to a kite explorer (e.g. in Wift next to the enclosure manager), ATTENTION! An exact description is still missing, use the stones 10-30 minutes later, at the place where you collected them to locate them (Hazul mechanics) or you use stones scattered over Porthis.

Here is a map of the stones found so far:

IF you want to help, take a screenshot of a find; It is important that you either see the stone or you just took a screenshot while collecting it. Otherwise I can not evaluate the screenshots without proof, because otherwise you can not understand that the stone was really there.

Weekly Maintenance 3/20/2020

We will be having our weekly routine maintenance at 7 PM PST Monday evening. During the maintenance we will be doing the following:
  • 3v3 Battleground
    • We're not sure how well this will work, so if it does not work Battleground will be unavailable for a week while we go back to figuring out what we can do.
  • New Dragon: Midnight Massacre
    • This will be a free Dragon available in the game
  • Nyssilth and Galactic Storm Transformation Medals
  • Secondary Custom Titles
    • This is an additional custom title that can be purchased by players who previously purchased a custom title. It does not have any stats other than Draconic Influence. You must have purchased a Custom Title previously to see this new product.
  • Dungeon Dragon Overhaul: after a lot of testing (thanks to @Heroine) I've fixed the issues with the new Dragons spawning in dungeons.
  • Bakra has tentatively been updated to have proper road quests, that will hopefully not destroy the zone after a day or two.
  • Moonlight Ambassador has had her larynx ripped out so that she'll finally shut up.
Maintenance generally lasts between 1-2 hours, though we will announce in the Discord if it will take longer. You can join our Discord by going here: Join the AdeptGamer Discord Server!

Suggestion Territory Hourly Earnings

So what I noticed is that the Islands you can claim with an alliance in this game produce little to no alliance points. Most produce nothing at all, and even those with a lot of houses on it like Darkshroud only produce 10-12 per hour.

I'm wondering if that could be increased at all, or if there could even be a standard minimum amount so no island is entirely worthless to claim. Of course, certain islands should still be more profitable than others to create competition. Don't know if this is technically possible, but I thought it would be worth mentioning at least.

  • Suggestion
Suggestion 102 BG accessoires?

It would be really nice to have 102 BG accessoires, especially to max Int or Strength more optimally on it without the hassle of crafting a 102 purple necklace manually. Just a suggestion, i dont even play on laedis, but Im missing it on EU, so I guess ill point it out.

Suggestion Rejected 1h and 2h weapon costumes on 1 costume set

It would be really nice to be able to equip both 1h and 2h weapon costumes on 1 set. Maybe it would be possible to use the unused slot at the bottom right for additional weapons? I would probably make it purely cosmetic then though and not be able to activate more shard slots as you would have an even higher grind then bc you'd need to farm shards for both 1h and 2h costume slots as well. Idk if it would be really woth the effort as its a really small point, but as pretty much every class switches between 2h and 1h, so it would be a nice cosmetic change.

Balance Changes:
__________________________________________________
Some small changes to a few inconsistent stats that have been dominating to meta for too long. Special damages now all grant healing power to help with consistency, however Natural damage was left slightly stronger to help with keeping natural damage classes well-rounded.

- Toughness Armour/Magic Pen resistance removed

- Elemental Damage scaling on healing spells 0 : 0 changed to 3 : 1 health recovered

- DS Damage scaling on healing spells 0 : 0 changed to 3 : 1 health recovered

- Natural Damage scaling on healing spells 1:1 changed to 2 : 1 health recovered

Class Changes – Overview

- Added Healing power reduction debuff Grievous wounds (debuffs cannot stack).

- AP regained through right click combos changed from 40 / 70 / 120 to 140 / 200 / 280

Ranger

Summary – Ranger has lacked behind the other classes for a couple of reasons including their inability to scale off of natural damage and their scaling off of Ferocity (Negated by the toughness meta). Instead of changing Ranger’s identity as a ferocity based class, the changes made to toughness as well as these class changes should allow ferocity to be more viable for Ranger as a class in PvP.

Bow Mastery / Gunblade Mastery

- Added “Ignore Toughness” 1 – 10% based on levels 1 – 10 (% is reduced from number value not flat rate.)

Apocalypse Sphere

- Added “Grievous Wounds” for 4 seconds

- Grievous Wounds healing power reduced 1 – 4% at levels 1 – 4 | 8 – 12% at levels 5 – 9 | 20% at level 10

Aesthetics of Violence

- Prerequisites changed to “No Prerequisites”

- “Bonus Critical Hit Power” changed to “Increased Base Critical Hit Power”

Bow Lonier – Pray to Lonier

- Added effect “Increase attack speed 5%”

Oracle

Summary – Oracle’s power has always been in a few of their skills which didn’t really allow for much build diversity outside of “Cure” and damage stacking. To rearrange the class cure has been changed to a purely support skill whilst the identity of tank healer has been moved to hopefully make Scythe Ishtalon viable.

Shadow Step

- Invulnerable Frame changed to CC immunity

- Immunity duration increased from 0.2 to 0.5 seconds (to match animation)

Cure

- Now only targets allied units excluding the player character

Scythe Ishtalon – Dragon Dive

- Removed taunt effect

- Increased healing buff duration from 8 seconds to 10 seconds

- Added 3 damage hits with scaling 1 : 1.9 damage dealt (Magic, Natural, DSD)

Scythe Ishtalon – Dragon God/Soul Vengeance

- “Dragon’s Howl” buff from level 5 - 10 | Added effect “Increase ALL damage dealt with a scythe by 15/20/25/30/35/50% for 10 seconds

Guardian

Summary – Guardian as a class has always been a tale of 1h Piesar or 2h Bazaka with both builds running 1 point in both “Warlord Befalls” and “Light of Fortitude”. Because of this the changes to “Warlord Befalls” should gear the skill into more of a last ditched effort before death skill as opposed to spammed for the free CC immunity.

Destroyer (Passive)

- 1 – 10% Critical Hit Power changed to 1 – 10% Critical Hit Chance

Defence Mastery

- Increased the Damage reduction values at levels 1, 5 and 10 | Damage reduction at levels 1/5/10 changed to 2/8/16%

Shield Block

- Counterattack status duration increased from 6 seconds to 8 seconds

1h Piesar – Light of Fortitude

- Damage Reduction at levels 1 removed

1h Bazaka – Fiery Chain

- Added “Grievous Wounds” for 6 seconds to targets hit reducing healing power by 20% at all levels

2h Piesar – Surprise Attack

- Attack range increased to match Electric Dive

2h Bazaka – Warlord Befalls

- Added “Grievous Wounds” debuff to the caster for 12 seconds. Reducing healing power by 90% at all levels

Sorcerer

Summary – Sorcerer is a very well-rounded class that needed some tweaking on some skills that stood out to be far too strong for how well rounded the class is. The changes to “Prairie Fire” should mean that Haberace builds can keep their DS regen skill as well as a consistent AP drain without it being too oppressive to the target. Some power added to both Riemist trees to help round out the trees identity and encourage players to take these trees more often.

Stasis

- Now grants Crowd Control Immunity for 1 / 2.5 / 4 at levels 1 – 4 / 5 – 9 / 10

- Health points gained changed to 40% of the characters natural damage value

Elemental Activation

- Buff duration changed from 14 seconds to 10

Ice Shield

- Freeze immunity debuff applied to recently frozen targets duration changed from 7 seconds to 10 seconds

- Freeze duration increased from 2 seconds to 3 seconds

Staff Haberace - Prairie Fire

- AP Drain debuff duration changed from 7 seconds to 2 seconds

- Total amount of drained AP remains the same

Wand Riemist – Pray to Riemist

- Added effect “Increase Natural damage 10%”

Staff Riemist – Pray to Riemist

- Added effect “Increase max HP by 10%”

Staff Riemist - Flame of Life and Death

- Area of effect increased by 500 units

- Damage and healing value now match

End Statement
This is up for discussion and I would love to hear what you think you would like to add, remove or change. Try to propose suggestions in the same format presented above labelled with either "Add","Remove" or "Change" above your idea.
Also, try to be as non-biased as possible for the sake of everyone's sanity.

Guide Updated - 3/2020 | Dungeon Ancient Location, Tips Farming Guide

Introduction:-
Dungeon Ancient farming seems like a long, tedious and pointless effort. However, in this guide, I'll not only share the whats, wheres and hows, but how to effectively integrate it into an effective gold or experience grind for your dragon, your gold bank, or your egg nests. I'll also share with you a much, much easier way to get dragons to spawn in less than four hours, and not just that - multiples at a time.

Setting up the run:-
This is a fairly large section, so I've spoilered it.

Create at least four more game accounts! You can manage your accounts under the 'accounts' setting on the forum. You can make up to 10 sub accounts here. It's worth making them for egg caring, battlegrounds buffering, and dungeon buffering. The latter we're going to use for our Dungeon Ancients.
  • upload_2020-3-31_22-29-27.png
  • Do NOT make more than one forum account. That's a fast ticket to get you banned. Only make accounts though the accounts page once you're signed in.
We're of course going to be multiboxing here.

Multiboxing on Adept's Dragon's Prophet is absolutely fine! I get this question a lot - this won't get you banned here. Due to the way some mechanics work, it's highly beneficial you do so if you're able to.

upload_2020-3-31_22-33-35.png

To launch multiple clients, just click the dp_x64.exe or dp.86.exe a couple of times. If you have a fairly average gaming computer, you won't want to start more than 5 anyway. Make sure your new accounts are set to minimum settings, minimal ui, and the smallest window you can manage to optimise performance. Play in windowed mode to quickly switch clients with Alt + TAB!

As for our little guys getting around to the dungeon we want.

upload_2020-3-31_22-36-22.png

This button is going to be our most vital ally. The transportation book will allow us to quickly move around. Get your main to mark the location of the dungeon gate, and use co-op scrolls, shadow step scrolls - even dungeon teleport scrolls and have every member mark the location, in the case you want to come back to this spot later. It's likely you might need a break with all this farming, or you may want to come back to it another day. Teleport scrolls are VERY easily available. You get free portals daily, on top of the very cheap kindred wheel providing many scrolls most of the time.

Set up at the most effective
Minor dungeon for you (Minor dungeons are explained in the next section below.) When you pick a target dragon in a region, you want to then pick the dungeon you know you can complete the fastest.

Once you're set up and standing in front of your dungeon, you'll be ready to begin!

The Mechanics of Dungeon Points:-
Another very long section, so I've spoilered it.

To spawn a dragon (especially the + type dungeons listed below) the normal rate is 1/1666 on hard mode and 1/833 on easy mode. This rate was obtained through the original Taiwanese servers. This seems like a lot to ask, for someone to run a 4 minute dungeon over 800 times.

However, to supplement players with insufficient luck, a points counter was enabled in most dungeons. Those that lack it either are bugged (Laedis) or were never designed for it (OG Bakra.) To hit this goal we need 300 points total, but the dragon can still spawn before then.

unknown.png

Twilight Ocean spawning at 113 instead of 300, hitting the 1/833 odds.
unknown.png

Believe me, I was pretty pissed when this guy spawned early, but I'll explain why later in this guide.
Thanks to the visual dungeon point counter, you now have a clear way of telling how long you have before a dragon will spawn. Upon clearing the boss, you'll see the dungeon points both overhead and in the yellow system text. Keep an eye on it every run!
Important note! The visual counter will relay the points of the PREVIOUS dungeon you ran of this instance. If your visual counter reports 294 points, your current run is 299! Don't ask why this is the case, but be aware of this as you could spawn things early.

upload_2020-3-31_22-56-12.png

Each time you run a dungeon you gain 1 point per person for the dungeon you ran. Considering most dungeons only allow 5 players, we can assume that you get 5 points per time. Our target is 300 of course, but even though you hit 300 you're not guaranteed to see it next run. From that point onward, the rates change to somewhere theorised between 10% - 30%.

Here's the math. If we ran alone, that would be 300 runs. A 4 minute dungeon times 300 is 20 hours. God no.

angtft.jpg

Comparatively, when we run with 5 people, we have 60 runs to do instead. That's only 4 hours. Still seems like a lot to you?

Let's make good of our investment even further.

When a dungeon ancient spawns, it resets the points of EVERYONE present in the dungeon. If we use this knowledge to our advantage, we can quintuple our timesink.

This is where our alts come in!

At around 294 points, (This is actually 299 if you're running with five) reduce your party to two members. Both of these members will have their points at zero when the dungeon is finished. If you can help it, use a separate alt with your main character so you don't lose two 300 point rolls for this particular part.

Note that, members will only have points reset while INSIDE the dungeon. This means that you can have other members in your party, but casually wait outside the instance.

Remember that Dungeon Ancients are still between 10%-30% spawn rate at this point, so they won't show up right away. So if you hit 310 points with just two and see no signs of the dragon, don't panic, you're just extra unlucky. Typically you'll see the dragon within minutes.

When we conserve point spending in this way, we can spawn up to 5 dragons! That's one dragon in less than an hour, not so bad now huh?

On top of this, we can also use the points in other minor dungeons in the region to spawn different stuff!

Extra benefits of Dungeon Ancient Farming
  • Push your alts in when only at the boss, to reduce time farming!
  • You'll also get all hardmode loot, plus extra eggs at the end if you're lucky (Sometimes two a run!)
  • Bring your dragon companion out to increase speed farming, give them experience, and farm provisions if you have the buff.
  • Sell the loot at an underworld merchant, or extract it for other nicknacks. but only if you want to spend time doing that.
  • You'll give you're friends lots of kindred bags! (They'll love you, I promise.)
  • In Porthis, Thadrea and Sitheran, you'll be swimming in armour mats, which go for ALOT of gold.
  • Run on hard mode rather than easy! You get tons of loot for your level and it's not that much more difficult.
  • If you want to risk it, run the fastest dungeon in the region to 294. Dungeon points are effective FOR THAT REGION. If you get nearly 300 points on each alt in Korhala for example, you can spawn 1 carnelian warden, 1 black smog, 1 dancing rook and use the points remaining to spawn dupes if you like.
  • You can cross Minor dungeon points to Major Dungeons.
  • Running easy mode gives one point on easy. Running hard mode gives 1 point on easy and 1 point on hard.
  • Dragon levels are now calculated on an average of your current party. Please bear this in mind *before* you spawn the dragon. For example if you have a level 108 and a level 20 in your party, the level average calculated is 54. It doesn't matter if this member is waiting outside, it still calculates.

The Dungeons:-
There are dungeons great and small throughout Auratia. For the purposes of this guide, I'll refer to dungeons that have multiple bosses as Major Dungeons. All other dungeons with a single boss are Minor dungeons. For example, Dunar Temple is a Major Dungeon because it has 4 bosses instead of one. Aymori Sands is Minor, because it has only one boss.

As of this update, Major dungeons are supposed to have dungeon ancients like Minor dungeons, but there's some extra jump hoops in the code to make them happen. I'll include them in this collection regardless with blank entries, so they can be filled later.

Major dungeons now have ancients.

Any dungeons marked with + means that they do not use the points system, but can still spawn a dragon.

Format is:-

Dungeon Name - Dragon Name - Speed ranking

Speed Ranking refers to how quickly you can complete the dungeon. This is based on opinion and character class, you may have a different experience. I'll grade these from F for worst and S rank for best. Use your discretion when running to accrue points. F will always apply to dungeons without a point system. An S ranking typically means you'll find your dragon in much quicker time.

Click the Spoiler under each Dungeon name to reveal what dragons lie there.

In Closing:-

I hope you find this guide helpful. Formatting this was a pain in the ass, but I get a lot of questions about dungeon ancient hunting in general. The first post itself may need a little bit of clean up here and there, but I wanted to pick up from where Genmii/Wolf not only left off, but add with even more detail and tips than before.

If you have any questions, feel free to use the thread or ask me in game. I play fairly actively, so I'll keep it as up to date as I can.

  • Suggestion
Suggestion Ranger set less Fero more Str / Focus

Rangers suffer a good bit from damageloss due to them having more Ferocity and less Strength on their sets. If you compare eg. Oracle set with Ranger set you see that the Ranger set gives 300 Ferocity and 250 Focus / Strength, while the Oracle set gives you 200 Ferocity and 450 DA / Int. Also the Oracle gets 1k HP instead of 300 points of Chance crit or 400 Points of Strength crit. So to put it basic Terms, the Ranger is loosing 200 points of either Strength or Focus for 100 points of Ferocity and 300 chance or 400 strength crit, wich is really not worth in comparison, assuming you dont have 1.2k shards everywhere. It would help out the Ranger a lot to just get the Focus or Strength instead. Then mounting fishes would be more of an Option and the Ranger would also potentially be a little more tanky, wich would be a nice change. I wouldn't recommend to balance it however with giving the Ranger more Ferocity though, because he can already hit hardcap on both chance and strength crit as is.
Even if its just changed for the upcomming 108 Armor, it would be a nice change.

Suggestion Rejected Laedis Hero Costume Set? Maybe recoloured ?=

Hey, would it be possible to add Laedis hero set ( weapons + maybe new created laedis offhand costumes) to the item shop? so you can have it as costume ? :D without need to do 102 weapon as costume...:X
maybe option for adding recoloured versions ? would kill to have a recoloured "laedis weapon" as costume :D
even if its like 2k or 3k diamonds I would buy it XD
