After many delays, and many many many tantrums and rants by both @Dragon and @Light, we've finally gotten to a point that we can begin rolling out some data updates to Dragon's Prophet. To begin with it will mostly be bug fixes, quality of life improvements and the addition of new marketplace items to fill in the blanks for player needs (Who doesn't want a Golden Item Unbinder for level 200 items and below, right?), but we will also be laying more of a foundation for future updates. We are still working on some things needed for new zones/new dungeons, but we can at least begin planning and building things such as items, mobs and new dragons once we get some new textures completed.

We were also hoping to release a new client, however during testing we found that the beta client has a bug where you only have 50% of your normal FPS. Originally we had thought that this was unique to some people, but in fact it happens to everyone and it's going to require a lot of research to resolve. This doesn't prevent us from doing data updates, but it will delay us in adding some things that require source code. While this is being researched we will also probably try to look at the HD textures missing, as well as the general unoptimized state of the client if we can.

I would like to thank all of our players for their patience, whether or not they are currently active, or are waiting for these updates. It's taken a lot of time to get to where we are at with Dragon's Prophet because half of it is reading through poorly commented Chinese code, or poorly thought out systems. All I can say is that there have been a lot of rants by myself, @Dragon and @Light on an almost daily basis.

In regards to bugs like the Laedis 102 Weapon quest, and the broken treasure quests, I will be working on those over the coming week or so. For the Laedis Weapon, I am going to just create a new quest where you can just receive the weapon for the items; this will cut out all of the preliminary questline, and hopefully resolve the issue as I've yet to find how to get that quest. As far as treasure quests go, I will need to look into that further.

As mentioned previously here are a few things that are currently planned:

• Custom Titles - rather than taking the stance EU did with using predatory psychological marketing tricks, we will probably just offer this as a service with the new website platform as it will require an approval process. If approved, the item will be created and then added within 1-2 maintenance; there may also be an option for the title to be exclusive, or for whether or not to make it available in game.
• It's been asked for a while to make it so that multiple powders can be used at a single time, however that is something that cannot be easily done so I will instead be making powders with increased effects. The existing 10% powders will probably be added as a rare reward for dancing or in other ways as I still disagree with encouraging the egg system .
• A Lair Manager Flute! Why? Because I too once dealt with having 100+ eggs and I too suffered through replacing them. That or so they can make room if they have a full stable and run across a wild dragon.
• Possibly a James Brown flute; though we will need to look at the logistics of this, and how we'd go about it.

We are also still looking into re-doing textures, which we can then use to make new textured dragons with different recolors. This is a slow process as we need to establish our own workflow, and look for the optimal way of doing things. We will not be doing what others have done which is basically using Photoshop filters and Macros as that will look worse than the existing textures once we fix the HD texture problem.

• Removed party requirement for dropping materials to create armor sets from Wintertide, Alentia and Inartia.
• Added missing Brasten Dragons (excluding Raybin Ouram, Ansu and Purintor) to Battleground Merchant.
• Changed the cost and removed the requirement for tokens when buying Brasten Dragon Eggs. Eggs are now 1500 and Unhatched Eggs are 2500. This is done so that there is still a need to do a bit of Battlegrounds, but also so that there is no longer a RNG aspect for those who dislike PvP.
• Added Golden Item Unbinder (any level). This will work on any Green, Blue, Purple, Orange or Gold item below level 100.

Hey guys just found this and wondering if this is a north american server?

While under my shower i was thinking about stuff and i thought about the pvp accessory set and how i upgraded it back in the official server . Then i thought if i get level 108 like it's possible in this server it'll be a pain in the ass to get level 105 accessories in dungeons when all the stuff i'll get will be level 108 to upgrade it . Well i guess level 108 items drop ? Not even sure about that .
So basically the idea would be to make a new pvp accessory set but level 108 , no need to upgrade the passive it would just be to upgrade it more easily .
I also thing it should be nerfed effect of set wise to , for exemple the level 108 if it gets made or the actual 105 one to 20 or 25% in terms of damage increase and reduction .
Even have more increase than decrease of damage something like 25 increase and 20 decrease or something knowing some fights gets ridiculous as no player are able to kill eachother with tank stuff and dragons heals .

Only throwing that here i don't think it's really important atm since we're not much and there doesn't seem to be a lot of pvp .

The credit system is now back online so you can earn credits for posting or logging in, as well as use your credits to buy currency packages.

When we move to the new site platform, we may potentially do away with the credit system temporarily as we are going to have to build it from scratch, but it would have a wider variety of ways to earn credits as we will be expanding the capabilities of the the site as a whole.

There's the pvp accessory sets ? Classes balanced or the same as the official server?

And the most important question are there strong dudes pvp wise ? Like exiledblader tier on official server or around that level?

Would you look at that? It's another development update and it didn't take several months to a year to come out... It's almost as if we'd set a foundation down so that we could work on things quicker .

This is a smaller development update, mostly to bring a bit more attention to the latest maintenance post where we announce that we have a tenative fix for the Laedis 102 equipment. As some players know, I've been off and on the server for the last few days checking the Laedis 102 quests, and have found what was causing the them to be stuck in preparation. It was something stupid and poorly done by Runewaker, but hey, that's about what we all deal with on a day to day basis isn't it.

If the fix works as it should, players should finally be able to complete any of the Laedis 102 accessory quests, and potentially the weapon quest, though I personally wasn't able to confirm the last one.

There will also be a slice change to the Clues left by Warthorne quest, and that is that we'll be getting rid of the stupid RNG aspect of retrieving the proper quest item. The reason why people thought it was bugged is that there are two items with the same exact name right next to one another, and the script for that quest just throws out a list of items, including the item with the same name which just caused confusion.

In general development news we have completed 11 data sets, which in regards to content and bug fixing are the most important ones. There is still a bit of time before we start releasing new patches as I need to test the data, and get comfortable with doing things. Also most importantly Hater and I need to plot what nefarious things to add for his events, as I know you all love being tortured oh so much.

Here is a list of things that we will be doing in the (hopefully near) future:

• I will be tediously editing 276+ loot entries so that the Wintertide, Inartia and Alentia sets will be obtainable without 3+ players. Thanks to @Ethric The Mad for finally getting me the list of items, and then bosses needed to actually look into this.
• Missing Brastens will be added to the Battleground Merchant, and the need for tokens will be removed. We will be increasing the price for Brasten (1500 for regular, 2500 for unhatched) though this is primarily to encourage more players in battlegrounds. Ansu, Ouram, Purintor and Raybin will still be Marketplace exclusives.
• Gold Unbinder that will unbind anything up to a Laedis item and anything below level 200. I will also likely add 108 unbinders, though this will likely be exclusive to events and probably used sparingly.
