Good day folks. Just joined the ranks of you guys while looking to replay this great game. I followed the install guide to a Tee and now when I try to launch the game, I find myself having to restart my PC after every subsequent launch as it just closes immediately. Tried searching on the forums for something related to a fix on this. Not sure what else to do at this point except restart my rig every single time. Any info would be appreciated.

The first thing to do, if you haven't, is uninstall and reinstall. If it still happens, you could try downloading the client again. Even following the instructions perfectly can't stop a random hiccup.

Otherwise, it kind of sounds like your initial session isn't fully shutting down, somehow, thus causing a conflict? You could try looking through the task manager to check on that.

I presume there are other possibilities, but my tech savvy is limited.

This is probably better for a ticket, as it's a weird edge case.

Next time you play, take a screenshot of your task manager before and after you close the game, and see if the .exe closes properly.

I will go ahead and try uninstalling and reinstalling. If not, I will redownload and follow that process. As far as checking if the app doesn't fully shut down, I will look at my task manager.

Update: So I managed to get the game running and to my surprise, during my very first dungeon, app closed on its own. And after I tried to restart the app, same thing happened again. Not sure if this is a sign but this feels like I am throwing my Sunday down the drain.

I have a strange feeling might be something to do with amd drivers? I have a 9070xt and amd ryzen 7900x. Crashes on launch every time. But I have not had a chance to try older drivers yet
