i cant seem to get this game running. can someone help?

A little more specificity would help xD if it's the d3d compiler error try downloading and installing these runtimes (they're just data that the game would usually install by itself, but often it needs a bit of love)

i figured it out! there was an essential file missing. so i had to reinstall and extract! thank you though! i do have one more question. the game is a bit blurry. is there a way to make it more clear like i see in the screenshots? or is it just the starting area?

i think what you mean is the full screen glow maybe. just deactivate that in your settings, otherwise i would have to see a screen to know how to potentially fix it
