NO - you need to start from scratch, You get a welcome kit which can bring youi to start at level 60 - you also some goodies like 1 x dragon etc. good lucjk!

I played dragons prophet back in 2013-2015 with my mother, it was the first game I had ever played and I have always remembered that game ever sense, I would really like to know how I can get my old account(s) back and how I can download and play the game again. Google wasn't much help it just lead me to this website. please help me or just let me know if I can't do anything at all ( I already sent a email requesting help to the support team I could find, its been 3 years and I haven't gotten a reply)

If you played on the official TW (Runewaker), NA (Sony), or EU (Infernum) servers, those have all been shut down for years, and any accounts you might have had with them are long gone. The server run by the Adept Dragon crew uses the same version of the game as what the EU had but is otherwise unaffiliated, so you'll have to start over from the beginning.

Client downloads for the game can be found in the menu on the left side of your screen.

Every official server, beside the taiwan one, have been shut down for years.
Adept is a private server and got nothing to do with officials.

You have to start from scatch - though it's not much of a hassle due to increased XP rate (you also get a beginner package at lv5 containing an insta lv60 potion, I wouldn't use it, leveling manually and reliving the nostaliga is half the fun).

Also you need to create a separate game account - click on 'Dragon's Prophet' under the 'Game Account' section on the right. You can create up to 10 accounts (for alt caring of eggs or whatever you fancy).

Plus if you manage to set everything up today, there will be our weekly GM event (read: free dragon + extra stuff) at 3pm EST.
Get on early and ask people on where to go.^^

I downloaded it from the menu under downloads.. but I have no idea what to do now or how.. the file was 18gb.. can you walk me through it in a discord call or something? is there a discord server i can join?

For discord access just use 'associated your discord account' under communications on the right side of the forums.

And na, all good, just start 'launcher.exe' in the files.
That will download all new files. Launcher window might look buggy, but it's normal.
You have to create a shortcut for desktop yourself if you want that.
Additionally you can start the game directly by using 'dp_x64.exe' - but only after you updated through launcher.
