Do you think hydras have 2 brains controlling each head or 1 brain in one head controlling both? or maybe anything similar to those two with other organs too?
I dont understand why this question got stuck in my head for such long time but i am unable to sleep. help.

Probably the same amount of brains all Dragons have, which is none if you base it off their AI.

Development varies, but real creatures with two separate, functioning heads have 2 brains, so hydras probably have two. Though, there was this thing going around ages ago about certain dinosaurs having a brain in their ass. It's bullshit of course, but in the case of dragons it may explain why a dragon having a clear shot for an arena KO will suddenly spin around 180 degrees and Cyclone Assault into a wall.
