The bug is not server side, the bug is a driver issue, as has been explained previously.

Similar bugs have happened since the release of the game, however with evolving hardware and driver implementations it's going to be more and more common for rendering issues to occur.
According to you, everyone with a 5000 series Nvidia card must be experiencing this problem, right?
So, does that mean everyone with a new Nvidia card has to play this game seeing these green lines?

No, according to you, everyone with a 5000 (and possibly a 4000) series card would have this same experience, as it would be a server issue. Because it is a driver issue, it is different person to person.

When the issue is a driver issue the problem can be caused by the nVidia/AMD driver, the specific firmware specific to a manufacturer for a specific GPU, an issue with a specific model of GPU or even an interaction issue between different hardware (eg CPU bottlenecking your GPU, causing the issue). Outside of major titles or larger companies who have direct access to nVidia/AMD for driver validation or software support, there is often very little that can be done.

DP was released in 2012, with a graphic/rendering system specifically designed for Windows Vista/Windows 7; these issues are going to become more and more common because hardware is vastly different compared to then.

I have tried to reproduce this on 4 different cards (4060 Ti, 4080, 5060 Ti and 5090) across different manufacturers (ASUS, Gigabyte, Zotac and Founder edition cards). So far I have not been able to reproduce the issue, and will need to see if there is something in common with people who have made the reports.

You're right, I'm not saying anything against that.
But we've entered a period where system requirements have increased. Gamers and users are now building high-end systems.
So, I'm basically asking, Do those Who want to play this game now have to live with this green bug ?
And since Nvidia isn't going to release a special driver for Dragon's Prophet anymore, I guess the answer is yes then ..

You can try different drivers and see if that changes anything. As long as Seiichi isn't able to reproduce the problem on their end. They won't be able to do anything about it. You could also try running it in compatibility mode and see if that changes anything. Try around and see what sticks. If something sticks for you, post what did.

I was hoping that those who see this post and own a 5000 series graphics card might be able to use it without problems and also mention their current driver version. However, it seems that either no one using the newer Nvidia cards is playing this game, or everyone is happy with this bug.

I have a 5060 TI, I tried numerous driver versions, every setting I could think of, every compatibility mode, every "fix" I could find online. Nothing worked.

DP is not the only game that doesn't play on the 50 series. There are many older 32 bit (and lower bit games) that have one issue or another because Nvidia dropped support for them with the 50 series. Nvidia seems to think people only play 64 bit games in 4k now. Some really popular lower bit games they took the time to make sure worked, but sadly, DP has a very small following, and is not important to Nvidia.

I researched this issue for months after I got my 50 series, and am lucky enough that I was able to just add my 3060 back in. A friend of mine got a new rig and gave his old one to his nephew. In order to play again, he had to pick up a clearance laptop. Luckily DP will play on just about any older hardware.

Not everyone with a 50 series has this bug; I have a system with a 5060 Ti, and another with a 5090 and neither has the issue for example.

That was also with a new DP install, with Driver 591.59 but I will update to the latest version and see if I can reproduce.

As I said, the issue is actually very complex because it is not a simple issue that can be reproduce. I will also make a ticket category for submitting DXDiag exports to see if we can find some common point for the issue, but it's unlikely to find a singular point of failure from similar issues in the past.

There are instructions for how to run DxDiag and how to save a diagnostic file. Upload the file and a screenshot so that I can compare things with other reports.
