Mortus is the result of players killing roaming ancients rather than capturing them, or at least that is the concept that Aiden and I came up with for another zombie Dragon in a similar style to Skitterjuice.
This Dragon was originally scheduled to release prior to Halloween, but due to a hurricane (and sequential power outage) and issues with the texturing application it has been delayed and will be available for Black Friday or Christmas, depending on how long it takes to implement.
Players who have Mortus, the Iron Revenant will get the title "Lord of the Abyss". This Dragon will also come with the Adept Dragon Tamer skill.

Old DP player from down under. Originally started playing the game back in 2013 I think it was? on the NA server and then eventually switched over to the EU server, and then finally over to the Gamigo EU server. I've played this game for almost a decade now and became very upset when the servers were eventually shut down on both DP and SH since this is very much my 'comfort' game to play after a long day at work.
Like my profile says, I was a GM for a fair while over on DP and then eventually SH. Obviously, I can't share what my GM username/account was since that's supposed to be secret business haha. It's great to see that there's still a somewhat active fanbase for the game and I look forward to interacting with you all!
This is a new set of merchandise that was made by @Arborath for us for Halloween featuring all of the existing Dracolith Fabled Ancients, and a new one that started off as a joke and looked good enough that we may add it in the future.
For every $25 spent on Merchandise, you receive $5 back in Platinum on the forum once your order has shipped.
We will be having our weekly routine maintenance at 7 PM PST Monday evening. During the maintenance we will be doing the following:
Enabled Halloween Event
Fixed Dracolith Gacha to contain Crypt Looter and Tomb Eater
Maintenance generally lasts between 1-2 hours, though we will announce in the Discord if it will take longer. You can join our Discord by going here: Join the AdeptGamer Discord Server!
Xaphan will be available for this week until Friday (10/21) at 11:59PM Pacific. This will be the last chance to buy these Dragons until Black Friday or next year.
I think it would be cool if once you enhance your weapon to 1 star you get a green glow, 2 stars blue glow, 3 stars purple glow, 4 stars orange glow, 5 stars gold glow.
I know I've suggested the companion loot pot before to have a permanent variant that you can purchase most likely with diamonds, this is just a small reminder of sorts that it's been suggested, but I had a secondary idea that I don't know if it could be implemented or not. The kindred compass has a lot of options on the 25 spin and more valuable but less options on the 95, which is in no way bad, but is there a possibility maybe once a month or week even that some items could be swapped to other items? For example the Catalyst x5 could be changed to a Seal breaking powder x1 or even more valuable changes on the 95 spin could be something like underworld merchant flute x1 could be swapped for a bank expansion card x1 and so on. Not huge changes per say but small maybe one off changes. I've no clue if that's doable or would be too much of a hassle.
As said in the Title. I think having dragon shards apply to PVP damage puts newer players and more F2P-ish players significantly behind players who abuse bugs, were playing for three eternities or who were selling dias to buy shards from other players. The older players still get rewarded for farming with gear stats since it's difficult enough to get a decent if not good attack and defense set and having decent gear already makes a big difference already compared to basic stuff. This would lower the entry Barrier to PVP in general and make it more appealing to new or less experenced PVP players as they don't just get 1shot by the first oracle wave they see from the dude with full 1.6k magic shards in his gear. This would probably have to be combined with some other PVP balancing (especally defense wise) as you're basically an immortal if you have the stats, play the right classes and spam heal enough.
I spent alot of my childhood playing this game so I was elated when I discovered this Private Server a few days ago.
I'd often go threw phases of missing it looking up again recalling it's shutdown then trying to find a replacement.
I've now been accepted into DragonMasters guild & they've been quite helpful with getting me readjusted
I'd be happy to have more friends to play with / care for their eggs.
Samael, the Hellforged will be available for this week until Friday (10/7) at 11:59PM Pacific. This will be the last chance to buy these Dragons until Black Friday or next year.
Okay so I have NO idea whatsoever as to if this could work even in theory but I had an idea I saw a different game I used to play use. The game I'm referring to is Trion worlds: RIFT, and there's this webpage the players use called YARET (Yet-Another-RIFT-Event-Tracker) and it tracks things like when bosses spawn or when a certain event is active and what stage the event is in (just starting, boss has spawned, ended, resetting, etc.) I don't know if this could be done or made possible, but I feel like if it could be done it would be a great way of finding certain ancients that spawn, when they will be respawning and so on. Again, I have no idea if this could even be done, but hey worth a shot to suggest I suppose!
The link to the page is still active and used daily tmk so if anyone is interested they can view it here: YARET
