Came back to play after it closed and it's making me so happy! I have a main who I'm level grinding from level 1, but I noticed that we are given an item that can instantly level us to 60 and a pack that will also give us gear. I thought that it'd be a good idea to have another character that I put on level 60 because I do find always going from level 1 to be a bit tedious at times and it'd be nice to have two different characters at two different levels

So I created an oracle, completed the tutorial, used the item to get to 60, but it seems like I still have the main storyline quest from level 7? Or at least, that's the only mainline quest I'm seeing. Is there someplace I need to go to pick up a main storyline quest that starts from level 60?

Na, 1-60 isn't tedious when XP requirements starting 91 increases exponentially. XD
Also the level-up potion only increases your level, it won't auto-complete any quests. So weapon and dragon god mastery quests you still have to slog through.

I have to experiment with auto-completing the storyline quests and such, but the way that they're implemented is not simple.

Keep in mind that running the questlines are a good way to rack up gold easily and quickly. You'll need a bunch for the end game equipment. And that's not to mention all the stuff you'll pick up to sell because it'll be worthless to you. :) If you need any help just yell in world chat. Someone's generally online.

Pretty much, especially if you never played the game/ haven't played it in a long time it might be best to do quests - at least on your first char.
And yes, you get gold, equip, shards as well as achievements on the way. It might take time but you get something in return. Even if it's just a nostalgic feeling.^^
